Wasn't so much complaining, as pointing out the possibility of other people getting upset because the line isn't moving when they think it should be, and there's not an actual employee regulating it. Yes, it would only be the first few people behind the person who would notice, but they are the ones you need to be concerned about. Hot weather+1 hour of waiting=not always the most rational of dispositions. This is especially true when they're waiting in the sun on an entrance ramp to get into the shade of a station.
I'm sure Adam (or anyone) is fully capable of doing the crowd control position. You're right, DJ, it's not hard at all. That wasn't my point. My concern is more for safety than anything else. No, we're not paramedics. We push buttons and stand around with our thumbs up for most of the day. But it's our job to do, including line regulation. Y'all stick to having a good time in the park! :-)
And union workers? Hardly. We're ASKING to be allowed to do more work ;-) At least in this case.

Regardless, I don't like it when enthusiasts try to police the park like it was their job. Some of them have some sort of a sense of entitlement because they're regulars.
That being said, I don't mind if someone holds up at the entrance to the station, provided they don't get all cocky about it.

Well, then, I suppose my advice would be to actually do the job.
^But, Josh, they're not only CP regulars, they're PB regulars, so they are entitled. Didn't you get that memo?

I don't think pausing at the entrance to a station is "policing" the park. I think its common sense. If you frequent something or somewhere enough, you know the "drill" on how things work. This applies to theme park queues, ordering at restaurants, etc... He's not really policing the park, he's just doing what he knows he is supposed to do. Its not like he's standing at the turnstile telling people what row to get in.
I agree that an empty station is a good station. Some random person almost started a fight with me at KK's station. There were so many people crammed in there, this guy got into the front row line by mistake because he didn't know better. I walked around the front seat row and went to the second seat. When he noticed I somehow managed to get like 6 trains in front of him when I was WAY behind him in the queue, he got ALL pissed off and started yelling that I was line jumping. It was ridiculous. If they had controlled the amount of people in the station, that wouldn't have happened. And, I'm sure I'm not the only person that's happened to.

Thanks HoosierTTD.
You and I and every other employee know we do the best we can with the staff we are provided. Its not worth everyone complaining about when they don't understand that sometimes we are short staffed and we don't have control over that.
I do understand what everyone else is saying but we would all rather you just enjoy your time at an amazing park.

But how can we enjoy our time at the park when there's a chaotic station irritating us? I as a fan can understand that sometimes you guys get understaffed and can’t take care of the flow of traffic. That's when I feel I need to take things into my own hands......NOT because it makes me feel superior or so I can boast about it but rather because I’m doing it for the benefit of myself.
