I still haven't decided which is better. After getting off TBird I thought it was better, but now I'm not sure.

I don't understand why something needs to be "themed" to be considered a quality attraction. What's so bad about good landscaping and other aesthetics (lights, music, interaction, etc.)?
I remember back in 2012, everyone wanted tall iron fences and cemetery decorations to go with the "theme" of GateKeeper. Can you imagine how that would have looked next to the beach? Here are some quotes from an old thread:
Cedar King said:
...tall wrought iron fence, with large white-brick columns... two 15' - 20' replicas of the keyhole towers...with large golden gatekeeper figurines sitting atop them...
inversionsarebetter:
A large griffin that greets you ...use cemetery style fencing for qeues ...play cemetery sounds.

have a cemetery-like iron gate
The day before the announcement CP will trademark The Gull and white track will begin to show up on the causeway. The coaster will have strange elements like a soft pretzel loop and 90 degree french fry dive. The water splash will be above the que "dropping" water on upcoming riders.
I believe Gatekeeper and Pipescream were added last Tuesday. Does anyone think tomorrow will be the day they add Rougarou?

IIRC, they never added a ride to the timeline every Tuesday since they started. It was more or less some time during the week.

What about "Valgullvn"? ;)
According to northern Ohio folklore a Valgullvn is said to be hatched in a cooling tower at Davis Besse nuclear power plant. It is said to have a wingspan of over 15 feet. After consuming the heart of a Cedar Point sweep, it takes the form of CEO. From there it pushes the VP of design and planning to design a dive machine named after it's original form.

They really can't seem to decide if they're going to consider Pipescream a coaster or not, can they?
When was it ever questioned by the park? From what I can tell, about 46 people have an issue with it.

Hmm...I thought for sure they would include a teaser sign with Rougarou. This whole 2016 project is quite intriguing to me. No visible signs of anything besides the wall signs and land clearing.

Will the next signs be teasers? Depending on when in August the announcement will be made, I think they would put up a teaser. Maybe the next sign will BE the announcement.

You aren't looking hard enough.

After looking a little harder, I predict that whatever they put in will have an entrance to the right of Blue Streak station, where Calypso & Turnpike cars used to be. The worker on BS platform was commenting to me about how comparatively peaceful the area has been this season, usually not much if any wait to ride BS. It would draw significant foot traffic to that wide open area.
I think this was mentioned earlier in the thread, but I thought I would resurface that fact that the Rougarou sign states it's the parks "first floorless coaster." Sheikra and Griffon in particular are floorless dive coasters, so this may hint towards a second floorless coaster coming to CP.
The only problem I see with that is that you don't really hear Griffon or SheiKra referred to as floorless coasters, despite having floorless trains. I think that when Cedar Point said "first floorless coaster," they meant "first and only."
But hey, I'm not going to let Occam's razor impede everyone else's speculation. :)
Guys, the Rougarou sign is the teaser! This sign is shaped like all the preceding signs. There will be another sign after the Rougarou sign. What will it say? I have no clue.

What else is there? I haven't seen construction equipment or footers or even ground work besides planting grass.
