After looking a little harder, I predict that whatever they put in will have an entrance to the right of Blue Streak station, where Calypso & Turnpike cars used to be.
Yup. I can see an entrance sign (like the new Rougarou one) going where Calypso used to be. It's also interesting to note that some of the old Turnpike Cars queue rails and entrance are still standing behind the construction fence over by BS. Look over there next time you ride it.
I wouldn't expect an entrance for a major new coaster to be tucked away in the back like that. I can see the entrance being off the main midway close to where the dodg'ems were. I do see a new pathway being contructed to connect to the Blue Streak midway and then a new attraction, possibly a dark ride being tucked back there.
I too would rather the entrance be located along the main midway and have the Blue Streak midway extended. Other rides and shops (dark ride) can eventually be added back by Blue Streak to increase foot traffic.
I feel that way more than just a coaster is going into this section of the park within the next five years.

I was just thinking over the stats published in the paper, 223 feet tall, maximum of 80mph, etc... and looked at the stats for Sheikra (200 feet and 70mph) and Griffon (205 feet and 71mph). If my physics is correct, for Valravn to travel at 80mph, it will need a drop around 250 feet, which would mean we're getting a tunnel for sure, or it will need some kind of launch element, which is unlikely, and defeats the purpose of a dive coaster's 'pause' element. Anyways, either the leaked stats were incorrect or we're in for some kind 'surprise'.
Someone commented about the space needed for a big "box" structure for a indoor coaster. I was at Disney in April and rode Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster, from what I recall the structure did not seem to take up much real estate. However, I could have a foggy memory because of the excitement of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, & the boys talking to me.
Like someone above stated, I wouldn't want something too large blocking the view of Famous Daves.
A dark ride doesn't necessarily need to be a big ugly box. With the right design, it could be an aesthetically pleasing structure. DT was a poorly designed structure, because enclosing it was an afterthought. If it was designed to be an indoor ride at the drawing board, the structure could've been better.

The building you see is not the show building -- based on seconds of research on Google Maps, the show building and the "tunnel" building would seem to be two to three times the size of that building.
If I'm recalling correctly, a launch coaster allowed them to place the show building out of the line of sight for guests
