I am always amazed by the amount of people who go to forums and post, yet apparently don't read what others have said.

Either of these trademarked names could be used there instead. I do like the name Valravn and do hope its used for CP though.

Even if the other company gets the patent, Cedar Fair could still obtain the same name if the patent lawyer guy decides that the products are different enough that they won't be easily confused, but with those cases you really never know. So for the time being, there's a decent chance Centurion doesn't materialize and we'll have to go a different direction.

He said the same exact thing last year. It's a universally known fact that 2016 will begin on January 1, just like every other year. A hint is a tease of something you didn't already know; did you not know this?

The only thing I learned by reading this post is that you need to spend more time outside of these forums. ;)

If CP were to build Valravn, what kind of station do you think they would go with? I'm hoping for a traditional Danish looking structure.

If it's anything like Banshee I'll be happy. I love the theming of that ride. The cemetary with the LED lights and the station is just amazing. I wonder what kind of theming Valravn could possibly have.

Valravn, if it is to be a built at CP could have some amazing theming. But most likely you will hear them talk about some things you wouldn't expect at CP, and possibly even getting a glimpse of the Valravn itself. In the end it will be a plain square metal station with one 60 watt black light bulb and possibly a fog machine in the que they purchased from Kroger last December on clearance. Not that anything like this has happened before, it's just a possibility I wouldn't rule out.

If it's at CP the new station will probably look like a fancy pole barn, like Gatekeeper's.

Not necessarily, maybe they'll give it a nice wooden structure like Maverick. I'm thinking RCT style here.

But what would they have done with Maverick had the station from White Water Landing not been there already?

I bet they would still have given it that wooden shack look.

Probably would have just been a normal que area like any other coasters with some awnings.

When I think of the Valravn folklore I think of medieval battlefields, swords, shields, armor and old Danish cemetaries. I think a giant Valravn statue near the entrance would be cool. A massive black statue with a 10 foot wingspan sitting atop a suit of armor laying on the pedestal.

Also, I think it would be neat if there were raven noises throughout the park that would startle people as they walk down the midway.

What about the logo? I'm thinking something with a black wingspan and a danish shield/crest with crossed swords.

Sitting in the plaza for Thunderbird. Now THIS is really nice. Beautiful details. Luckily for us, I think Gatekeeper is still a better ride.
