Driving past the queue yesterday and noticed the park has ditched the oscillating misting fans in the queue. They’ve installed large overhead fans in its place.
It’s nice to see a physical structure shading the queue as well, as opposed to the mesh tarps they typically use.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
^^^I rode Icebreaker in year one with the dis-"comfort collar" restraints, and felt like it was such wasted potential. The restraints just made me want the ride to end. Sadly it was down all day when I went last year to give it another shot. But if these reports hold true and Siren's Curse is running reliably, this could be a hit for the park.

They even themed up the gates and rails inside the station!
I got 8 rides at the commercial shoot on Tuesday, and I have to agree with what others are saying—Siren’s Curse is glass-smooth. It’s packed with airtime, including some solid ejector moments, but the restraints make it all incredibly comfortable.
My first two rides were in the back row, and the tilt element back there is absolutely insane. I ended up riding all over the train and honestly, every row delivered. The airtime hits no matter where you sit.
The restraints are what really seal the deal—they make this ride super rerideable, kind of like GateKeeper, but with way more intensity. And the onboard audio? Perfectly executed. I found it complements the theming and really amps up the suspense during the tilt.
There were a lot of Vekoma staff at the shoot, and between them and the park team, everything felt dialed in and ready for opening day.
Siren’s Curse is a fantastic ride. Cedar Point has a winner here. We’re so lucky to have such an incredible lineup of rides!
