I have concern for this coaster, after election day it may be mass-deported back to Mexico.
Sit tight fellas ;)
Hot take, opening rides on opening weekend for Cedarpoint hinders the hype around the rides. MY main two reasons are weather and crowds, I think mid-late June is the best time with preview(s)/testing during park hours in early June..which continues to build hype and when they do go for the grand opening you're arent too cold/hot and can actually enjoy it.
Another small update, The remaining trees in the cedars lot have been cut down. Looks like they decided not to keep and build around them.
That makes sense and doesn't seem like a loss, given it's an area outside the park that being converted into a road and parking lot. Hopefully they can plant some trees along the SC infield's north edge, which would eventually provide some welcome shade on that midway.

They plant trees with most attractions, just never mature trees, as best I can remember.

Jeff is spot on. The trees they plant today are noisy, rude, and act like they own the place.
Promoter of fog.
Get off my lawn?

Speaking of getting off my lawn, on an otherwise peaceful, quiet and tranquil day the constant noise of them driving pilings at the Sirens Curse site is annoying. I’m trying to find a manager to discuss this nuisance.
Whatever you did must have worked. I didn't see it operating the whole time I was there. I hope this significant delay doesn't affect the opening date too severely.
Is it necessarily the case that there was a delay at all (much less a significant one)? May well still be on schedule from the park/manufacturer perspective. Though maybe not for people expecting 24/7 construction activity through opening.
Things might start ramping up quickly. Track is officially on site.
Didn’t really want to start a new topic, but the webcam indicates that Professor Dilberts Frontier Fling is being removed. Wonder if this is part of the bigger project replacing SRF?
mgou58, that is interesting. With the removal of Frontier Fling, removal of SRF, removal of Frontier Trail overhead sign, vacant Town Hall former museum, and the whole dead island areas they must have something in planning that only Lemon Chill Guy is privy to.
Kind of early to start demo for anything 2027 or after. But I’d be surprised if they added another large cap ex for 2026. So I’m a little perplexed but also excited.
