Tony and Tyler just wrote about Surprises yet to come that they will be getting out thier Ten Gallon Hats... and said The Winds of Change are a blowin... i know its the same teases as before... but here we go again!!!
"If it looks good, you'll see it; if it sounds good, you'll hear it, if it's marketed right, you'll buy it; but... if it's real, you'll feel it."
This will show my age a little, but, when my family went to KI and the largest coaster was the Racers (none backwards), I was terrified of riding it. I was ok until we got into the station. That's when it really started to sink in that we were about to board. Sometimes, my mom had to bribe me with a dollar to ride it. Years later, I love coasters and am not afraid to ride any of them. Oddly enough, the Vortex at KI is the only coaster that gives me that gut wrench on the first drop.
It's about time... ;) (@ T&T, not coasterfury)

Coasterfury I understand what you mean. Whenever I went on Racer I always went forward. It took me a while to want to ride backwards. Now I get on it and think nothing of it. Vortex was my tougest one to get over when I was a kid. When we started doing Cedar Point Trips, Magnum was the first big coaster I accomplished first. For some reason after I rode Magnum, I was terrified of riding Mean Streak, now I love it. Anybody else feel the same way about one of Cedar Points rollercoasters at a young age?
For some reason these two pics stand out to me. (2005 Halloweekends)

I think the reference to 2007 is in regards to when Mr. Kinzel was suppose to retire, and how Mr. Falfas would more than likely have taken his position.

Hey y'all. This is my first post, so don't mind the rambling. Here's my thought:
As it was said before, Project 2007 is a HUGE project. Not just coaster(s). Let's not forget the age old theory of the Breakers Boardwalk. So why not take a huge chunk of lang (old WWL) and ship Bearstein Bear Country (or whatever) over yander. Shuffle in a few new flats, restaurants, and a kiddie coaster or two, and save some land for a family oriented coaster. No aquatrax, no soaker. But the ability for people on the SRF bridge to "shoot" water at the coaster as it passes by during a helix just above the water. So why start construction early '06? Take care of this area first because it needs the most work (ride/tree removal, footer pouring, moving CP&LERR track, etc) and work on the Boardwalk in '09/'10. After all, that's where WC will be headed (just a theory), plus an out and back woodie like GL's BD. Remember, they've got the next 2-3 years planned out. They'll be signing contracts for '09 coasters right when we figure out '07 (if we can).
That's enough crap out of this guys mouth. No belittle me like there's no tomorrow.

That is pretty cool. Nice observation!
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
Has anyone thought about the fact that "10-gallon hat" might be a clue regarding water?
