Project 2007 Blog Update

When they let the cat out of the bag, this site might crash! lol jk Since there is like 80 posts notifications in my email everyday it gives me something to take my mind off and laugh at the geeks who post about track types and other specs about a coaster. Who cares about the specs of a coaster just ride on! Coasters are coasters they kick a** and when the cat is out of the bag just accept what it is.

I think I'm actually more interested in how coasters work and constructed and why they do this instead of that than actually riding them.

I am too but people go over board and i get lost on what they say. I know how the block system works thats about it. Plus i know how to safely put ppl in the seat of coaster.

Ok I was at the park yesterday and looked at the construction site on mean streak...is it me or do those footers come extremely close to the train? It wasn't one footer, there was a lot of them.They were all in a straight line...

Well according to the article Walt just posted, it says there will be an announcemt in late August..... Now we know when.... Long summer ahead of us....

Or just enjoy Cedar Point's existing 67+ rides? Have fun, don't let "agonizing" anticipation ruin your summer and make it "long".

I personally will not lose sleep over it. I won't be riding it until next year anyway!

Haha, I remember hearing "67: the most rides in one park" a few years ago but I new that a few rides were taken out, and a few added since then and i didn't feel like doing the math in my head. :)

I've been reading everyone's thoughts about the great mystery project. I have finally come to a conclusion. CP is going to build duelling something or others and here is why. CF just announced it's plans to acquire the Paramount park and possibly certain licenses....Let's not forget about the numerous "Top Gun" rides at various Paramount Parks......Also, let's not forget that Tom Cruises charater was called Maverick. I am expecting CP to get away from the Frontier Town of old to make way for a more modern section of park. Dueling coasters with a jet fighter theme would be cool but I doubt it will happen. Just thought I would put spin on the "put two and two together" Oh, I almost forgot that sidwinders are a typ of missle. Hmm....Everyone has my permision to bash me freely for being stupid!

For some odd reason, the track resembles Intamin, but I'm not sure.
