Opening Day 2007!

This all sounds so exciting. Unfortunately, due to work I won't make it to the park until about 2:30, then I have to get my photo ID taken. (Which from what I've heard could take a really long time) This whole running to the rides/meeting sounds like so much fun. Curses to the adult life and work! I guess as long as I get my pass taken care of and have enough time to ride front seat of Raptor, Millie and Skyhawk (which may be my favorite ride) I will be happy. I'll look for you there!

Not to take the thread off topic, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in some beach volleyball during the afternoon? I have a volleyball, but it is a pretty nice indoor one (Mikasa competition), so I don't want to risk it outside; so if there is enough interest, and someone has an outdoor ball, that would be awesome.

I made the change of 7 to my group.

Hey, What's up all. I havent posted for a while and I found out I'm not working this weekend---horay. Consequently , I'll likely be crashing the get together if you all don't mind.......Let me know if you want me to bring anything like a cooler with some ice or something, Maybe cheese squares.....I'm planning on being at the main gate for JCC, and likely doing MF first... I think I met a few of you on closing day last year ......later

Just thought I would throw the idea out there, I will get there probably between 9 and 10 PM and staying untill I am full of beer. I will be wearing a black hat and a "Jaws" (the movie) t-shirt .

Just to try and get some interest generated, if anyone would be interested in playing some volleyball on the beach Saturday afternoon, I know of at least one other person who will play. Anyone else here that may be interested? If so, either PM or just look for me at the park and let me know. I'll be wearing a bright orange maXair shirt, and my bangs are dyed blonde, so I should be fairly easy to spot. If my friend brings duct tape, I may write my screen name on some and stick it on my shirt to help with the ID. ;)

If anyone has a volleyball that is meant for outdoor use and can bring it with them that day, that would be great, as I would really prefer not to use my indoor competition ball.

Well it doesn’t look like my luck will get any better any time soon. Apon asking my dad permission to use the family car just this Saturday, he told me something he had found out earlier yesterday. The car may be more to fix than what our insurance is willing to pay. So there’s a chance the car will be a "total"......even though it technically isn't. We won’t know for sure until later today. He hasn’t given me a "no" answer but if the car turns out to be a total, I think it's safe to say that I won’t be coming to opening day.....or to Cedar Point in general for a while. Sorry again for the inconvenience.
