You'll be able to find Techguy, Chris(Zycot), and I around Magnum most of the day, unless we break at daves for lunch. Other than that we'll pretty much be there all day.

I kid I kid, I'm sorry to hear that. I just purchaced a 2002 Ford Taurs for my CP trips this summer. My old boat.... I mean car tends to shake violently when you go 60 in it. Damn you 1984 Grand Marquis. ;)

How many times have we told you to not to try to accelerate your car from 0-120 in 4 seconds? We know you are a Dragster fan and all, but accidents can happen!

Oh Adam, I'm so sorry for you hon. I really hope you can make it. But don't stress too much about it. TTD isn't going anywhere & it will be waiting patiently for your return! Just glad your OK.

We MAY have something in the works for the "Get Adam to opening day" drive.

It's been a LOOOOONG time since I have posted on the site or even been to the site (around end of season last year) but figured I'd chime in with a big fat WHASSSSUPP!!! My fiancee and I are planning on being at the pavilion @ 2 and I will contribute a couple of cases of pop(reg and diet) and some bottled H2O possibly for everyone since no one seemed to say they were bringing any (sorry but I had to skim through the last 18 pages in like 15 minutes to catch up with what was going on for OD). I saw something that sparked my eye a couple of pages back and started reminiscing of closing day last year. The PB meeting at the fronteir inn and how much fun our UTOT was on MS. Ensign Smith I know was there but not sure who else was since1/2 the group high-tailed it to TTD and four or five of us were left to UTOT ourselves on ID and MF. I'm so down for another after lunch at the pavilion if anyone is game. As for head count update

Food and Compliment List-
ejh1701 - hot dogs (1 person)

Thank you to everyone! I'm truly proud to part of such a great community of people. You guys never cease to amaze me.

And hopefully I'm not out of the woods just yet! I'm in talk with somebody about a possible ride and there's also a slight chance I might be able to take the family car with dad's permission (not right now though;)). So as of right now, I have about an 70% chance of actually being able to go.......I just have to promise my parents I wont try to go 120mph in 3.8 seconds.;)

The next hurtle for me is obviously money. With a $550 deductible that I myself will be paying to fix the car (everything that's in my bank account plus my CP emergency money), I'm going to be watching exactly how much money I'm able to spend....which isn't going to be much. I just have to hold out till my graduation party in June. Till the party, I need to get through a cell phone bill, car payment, and possibly the ticket from the accident (IF the judge is nice). It's going to be tough until then but I have faith that God will help get me through this......as he helped keep my friend and I safe and scratch free.

Adam, really sorry to hear about the dustup. The main thing is you're okay. Cars can be replaced, even visits to the Point can be rescheduled if necessary. Just try to be of good cheer.

I don't know if this has been discussed yet but Cedar Points website says that Maverick will not be opening as part of Joe Cool on opening day.

Because of First Rides and Opening Ceremonies, but you can still line up for it before it opens at 10am
