No 2005 Coaster?

I love Corkscrew's.... 'airitme'. I know it's not known for it but, it's an arrow. I love sitting in the back and letting the front of the train pull you down the hill.
You ride the corkscrew for airtime? lol thats the wierdest thing I've ever heard. *** Edited 7/28/2004 9:11:45 PM UTC by TUBBY***

Corkscrew has some great airtime before the first inversion.

I would have to agree with Walt. I never expect the airtime and always think I'll just go upside down a couple times and be done.
Anyways, I think that part of it is fun.

Magnum still rocks.

I don't know I guess I never really noticed or something.
With all the speculation of a new flat, I'm suprised nobody's mentioned the Jump2. Seems like it'd be just as cool as a Giant Frisbee, and the capacity is pretty good too at 1000 pph. I don't feel like searching, so have any of these been installed, and if so, how are they?
Paramount Canada's Wonderland has one. It's called the Sledge Hammer. You can find it at www.canadas-wonderland.com/attractions_rides.jsp. *** Edited 7/29/2004 2:02:21 PM UTC by DragsterRaptor*** *** Edited 7/29/2004 2:02:54 PM UTC by DragsterRaptor***
Where will a new rollercoaster fit in the park? What will have to be taken out?

And THAT is the $64,000 question.

And to answer, we go to the Cepar Doint Vice President Dick Kinsel:

PB: So how are you planning on adding Cepar Doint's 17th coaster?

DK: With construction.

PB: Where will it be?

DK: On a Peninsula in Lake Erie.

PB: Can you be more specific?

DK: Well, we are planning on removing all the rides and meshing the track together to make one big giant 44,000 foot long 2,000 foot high, 450 mph coaster that will run throughout the entire park. We are working on a train right now that will work on all tracks.

PB: Are you serious, that would be cool.

DK: Of course not you dolt. Do you honestly think we are going to let plans slip before we are ready, I think not. Truth is we have a couple ideas in the works and are progressing at our pace. We will announce plans as they become pertinent.

PB: Oh, so when can we expect an announcement on new rides for next season?

DK: Well, if we are adding anything next season, we will make an announcement sometime before the beginning of May 2005.

PB: Well, thank you Dick for that enlightening look at what's in store for Cepar Doint in the coming year.

Goodbye MrScott

That is the funniest darn thing I've ever heard.

Well, I was exxagerating a bit on that, but it was still pretty darn funny.

I love lamp.

I say if they ever take out WWL, lets put another flume in like Journey to Atlantis or something like that. I have great ideas. You could go up the hill with a lot of theming go around for a while and than drop.
I just got back from IOA today and had an idea for a new coaster that CP could add. It's a flying coaster that launches you out of a tube kinda like the Hulk, but the hill would be bigger and it would fly over the midway and over lake erie.

Flying over the midway sounds really fun! And im 100% sure that if/when they build their flyer it will definately go over the water thats a no brainer.

Bu what would really surprise be would be a 250 ft. B&M Floorless..... Ahh that would be heaven

Go over the water, how's that a no brainer?

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Because almost every person ive talked to on tons of different forums suggested flying over water.. And to think of it.. The rumored place for the flying coaster is by alot of water so im almost 100% sure they will incorperate water somehow into the ride.
Unless you've talked to a CP Head Guy, then it can't be 100% that it'd be over water. For all we know it will be right smack in the middle of the midway.

Does CP even own the rights to build anything over the lake? And if it is a "no brainer" how come they have never built any other coaster over the lake....it would be a major addtion to any coaster not just a flyer...although I admit a flyer would be the one of the coolest.

I am sorry jeff...I was not on your site a year ago, I was going to use the search function but I didnt really know what to search for. I have never actually been to cedar point but have always wanted to, and joined your site to learn about it more before my first trip there in august. But come on your site is kinda like a learning tool in a sense and how is anyone ever suppossed to learn if they are scared to ask questions and to bring up certain topics. *** Edited 7/31/2004 8:28:15 PM UTC by Trichrome***

They need to use part of the parking lot and the beach to build a flying coaster. *** Edited 7/31/2004 8:48:18 PM UTC by Huggy Bear***
