No 2005 Coaster?

just to let people know, i have seen some blue track at cedar point. Its over by white water landing. From what i can tell it is B&M track, but i could be wrong because i saw it on TTD.

I bet 5 dollars to Stoner3320 that it was Millennium Force. ***Rolls Eyes***

Yeah I betcha he was looking at Construction pictures of Millennium Force when the whole thing was in the parking lot.
Ok first of all i heard it was B&M from some other source(not sure if i can trust him). the second thing is, I had two good views on TTD since i got a rollback. Third from my view it was not MF track, since it was on the ground and the color was more like a baby blue. But i could have been tripping out(just look at my name)

If you had wanted anyone to believe you, that was probably the wrong thing to say...

S2Kster you are prolly right, but how many people were going to believe me anyhow. Like I said before i heard this from a source(not sure if i can trust him) but he told me that if you look over by White Water Landing that you would see track for the new coaster. And the comment about me tripping out was just a joke.

I also saw a car from the green MF train wash up on shore. ;)

I for one like rumors and getting my hopes up so I believe Stoner3320. I will be sooooo happy if you are right but if not oh well, I just like the hype. So ya.

Why would they put track down by White Water Landing? That I don't get because theres not much area there unless you find that hidden road that kind of goes through it but I don't know where they would put it.

Isn't there some type of unpaved service road underneath the elevated portion of WWL? I think it links to the service road entrance and rail road crossing near MS.

I am not sure either way, but you guys seem to like rumors. My friend working at the point this summer has heard other employees talking about how the trains are already in the park for a new coaster. Also a select few people have been allowed to see them.

Yeah, the company that designed and built them, and Cedar Point upper management. I highly doubt any seasonal employees have seen them.

The proof is in the pudding. Not really sure what that means, but I'm sure it applys here.

I think if they would take any coaster out at all, take out Corkscrew. I'm sure you can fit a good size coaster over the midway the sameway you do with Corkscrew.

I for one like walking directly under the Corkscrew. It's not exactly what i would call a good size coaster though.

Let's go straight to the Merry-Go-Round!

Cedar Point will not take out any coaster to build a new one at this point in time. The Point is in the race for having the most coasters and they want to stay at the top. The only thing I see possibly coming down is WWL and personally I never ride it so for me at least it would not be that big of a deal.

But I am worried about a new coaster back their ruinig the atmosphere. They could definetley make it look like its hidden in the trees but the noise would ruin it back their. I just hope Cedar Point makes the right descisions if they are planning to build a new coaster back their any time in the future. *** Edited 7/27/2004 3:23:37 PM UTC by Fat Man Tarkey***

It be neat if Cedar Point would make Corkscrew longer with like a heliex in the end. What they could do is use part of the junk yard that sits underneath Corkscrew. Crazy Idea but it could work.
Corkscrew is a classic, yes, but I don't find it necessary to spend more money on it. :)

The time to place a new element in Corkscrew was back in its preliminary stages of planning. If you want a helix, ride CCMR and Gemini...that will probably give a similar sensation.

I think Corkscrew is a good junior coaster the way it is. There's no other midway like it. I don't usually ride it, but I love to sit under the corkscrew and watch.
