Look at this Gemini logo I made. Seems new to me.

I would mind a new sign in the entrance plaza. Maybe a huge jumbotron type sign with an animation of the cedar point logo.
I've actually been playing around with the idea of a new entrance design.

What I would love to see somewhere around the entrance area is a large mosaic style inlay in the pavement similar to Wicked Twister, as well as some better lighting. They could really do some cool stuff with the entrance area in the evenings and at night with lighting.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
You know, you just gave me another idea. It could be expensive, possibly could take some work to maintain (we all know how much attention CP pays to their lighting ;) ), but it could look wonderful if done the right way. You could have the double line Cedar Point logo with the green letters being lit from underneath and the blue outline would be the blue fiber optic, possibly alternating between blue and red. And then you could either surround the logo in a wave mosaic or maybe an abstract globe view mosaic with one of the slogans like "America's (rockin') roller coast." or "Roller Coaster Capital of the World." Maybe if I have the time and I can figure it out in Photoshop I'll see if I can't give you all a visual of what's in my head.

I think I get what you're saying. Another cool idea might be to have larger concrete slabs with the CP logos from past to present leading up to the gate, with the most current logo last, with the logos backlit from underneath. It'd be an interesting way for CP to homor it's past.

I don't know about you, but the whole maXair area = best lighting at night ever. The games lighting is amazing, and the little Cedar Point logos that move from game wall to ground is really cool.
If Cedar Point did something along twoards those lines in the entrance plaza, that would look killer.

There's really no sense in doing lighting on the entrance plaza because you're usually on your way OUT at night.
I do agree the entrance plaza and picnic shelters should be plowed over and rebuilt. There is so much you could do there to make the arrival to the park sweet. They should do the same thing to the hotel entrance. I know it doesn't generate any direct revenue, but it would add to the guest experience of the park for sure.
Bring back the parking lot tram too. :)
