that witch he said it is not going in hexed maybe that witch is a rougarou. could be the theme for a dark ride in 2015. Griffin is a dive machine maybe they are getting a dive machine for the future possibly sometime in the next 5 years. like I said before he knows the 5 year plan. or I could be completely wrong.

My guess is that the picture with the 4 sections outlined is gonna show the 4 new haunts or possibly 4 new attraction upgrades next year but probably 4 hallo weekend attractions

So is tomorrow the unannounced announcement day of what will be new in 2015, or the announcement of the official announcement day where we will find out what will actually be new in 2015?

I didn't really get it when Tony said: "I lied about the end of the Hexed stuff," ...anyone know what he meant by that??

Not likely. In a tweet between Jason McClure and Tony on July 21st, Jason said something along the lines of "I hope you're really not going to tease (make us wait) 66 more days, people lose interest" (right around Sat 9/27). I'm thinking that this was/is the originally planned date for the 2015 announcement. Maybe it'll be moved up. Who knows?

I think that would most likely be a reference to Holiday World's "66 days at sea" teaser campaign, that led up to the announcement of Thunderbird.

Obviously tomorrow is the announcement day where they announce the day that they will announce the day for the announcement.

Maybe they will say an announcement day after the Carowinds announcement day on the 21st. Who knows.

Out of curiosity, why does everything think the Rougarou trademark is for Cedar Point? Is there anything to support this speculation? I seem to recall many people here thinking Cedar Point was getting the TrioTech dark ride Matt talked about last year at a conference, when that clearly wasn't the case, simply because Cedar Point is the flagship park (so, you know, it HAS to go here).

I think everyone thinks that because of Tony's tweet a while back that said something like "did I spel that rite?". Rougarou is a word that can be difficult to spell if you're not familiar with it.

Well, for a couple reasons. Neither of which are conclusive.

First, Tony tossed out the comment about something being hard to spell and pronounce correctly. I would say that Rougarou is a weird word many would not now how to pronounce or spell, including myself when I first saw it.

And second, they coaster campout site was called "Camp Rou".

That's really it.

So today, while Gemini was down for a half an hour, I was the only one that waited, and I was talking to a ride op, and he told me that the Mantis trains would be changed, and that it would be named King James. He said that one of the girls that used to work on Gemini dated somebody "high up in management", and he told them.

Ah yes, the reputable person who knows a person who dated a person of a much lower ranking (likely against company policy, definitely a conflict of interest) who was not at liberty to discuss said information. Seems like a very legit source. :)

Well, I believe you, and I believe the ride op told you all that.

If I were a ride op I would tell guests the same things... perhaps even that engineers have been surveying Mantis before the park opens. That one time a meeting happened at Mantis where one of the people produced a model of a floorless train with a Rougarou logo on it.

He really didn't seem like a person that would make something up. I asked him, and he told me, like it was nothing. ME: Do you know what they're gonna do new in 2015? RIDE OP: They're changing Mantis, since Lebron James came back to the Cavaliers, and they are also changing the seats.

Anybody can sound legit.....it's not hard to do. :)
