Where the average heartline of riders is isn't the only factor. Another one is where riders are bearing most of their weight (feet, on a stand-up; backside, on a seated coaster). Forces bearable in a seated position mayn't be so while standing, and vice versa.

Also.. as someone of cajun-french heritage, can confirm Rougarou is a werewolf type demon that some bayou folks still believe in for some reason. Mostly it's just something our grandparents tell us about when we're little to scare us from being bad.. kinda like the boogeyman.

What I meant was I hope it's not a dark ride, because I think he is hinting towards it.

Maybe he's referring to dark in a different sense. Such as dark, creepy, scary, dangerous. Maybe like a French werewolf named Rougarou.

Yea it does seem like the whole DARK thing is getting thrown around a lot in social media and by some employees, but nothing is ever that simple! Tbh if they do get a Dark Ride for 2015 I guess it'd be ok, but that's not what I go to CP for.... LOL but obviously the world doesn't revolve around any single person, so coaster enthusiasts may have to get their gas cards out and get ready to travel! I grew up at CP and I think my emotional ties to the park want it to remain the Coaster Capital of the World, rather than go the Disney/Family route! But realistically CP has been all about the family attractions for pretty much the last decade and even the 2 coasters that they added could be considered family oriented! Well Maverick is great but more for it's unique elements, not it's size or visual intimidation! Im a regular CFplatinum pass holder from NE Ohio and haven't been to CP yet this year, but have been to several other CF, Six Flags parks this year... Just seems odd, but I can ride all CP rides in my sleep and need a change lol! I'm hoping for a curve ball in 2015, because I love the coasters that they've givin us in the past and crave that excitement/anticipation that they give me! Either way CP2015 should be good and what the park needs!

Nah, this tweet follows what we already know is happening, it simply adds to the plan. Mantis is still getting floorless trains, re-themed and re-painted. And of course, renamed Rougarou. This new tweet simply means that the whole ride will be enclosed in a disaster transport type structure. Inside the Rougarou will battle numerous Pirates while we all scream by on the new floorless, stadium style seating trains.

So it's going to be a dark ride in the front of the park, got it.
