Sadly, this is the closest we've come to figuring out the 2015 mystery. . .wait! Mystery Force...nah. I'll just wait for a solid clue.

I was being kind and rounding down. :) It feels like we have nothing at this point. I've never felt this lost in a discussion of new attractions. It's fun to speculate, but when we all run out of ideas it gets sad. lol. I know the one day I don't check the forum they'll announce the ride and give free t-shirts and first rider tickets to everyone online.

Rogarou/Raptor. That has a nice ring to it... Versus would sound even better though.

You know, maybe this page is getting a bit far-fetched. I think I will take a break from this forum for a little while. After all, it's almost August, and I just keep on telling myself, "You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit…unless it's Disaster Transport."

Haha. Well, you can say that again! I worded that way wrong! But still, I think I'm just going to wait around for an announcement! :)

I'm going to the park Friday so I'll be sure to check out if I see anything interesting throughout the park, especially in some of the speculated areas.

I'm going to the park on Friday as well, I will keep a lookout for possible clues, Possibly around the swampy areas. :)

I also have a feel that Mean Streak is on the cutting list, It could receive a RMC treatment (Then Again unlikely as Cedar fair does not work with RMC) I could see the Park getting a good GCI coaster, they say they are ready to build inverting woodies, just that no one has ordered them yet.

As for what people are saying to changing the Trains on Mantis, I don't think this will happen because first of all It is not suitable for floor less trains (Maybe they could re arrange and re-brand it to the name Rougarou or something.

Rougarou could also be a new ride, who knows. I do hope we see improvements on the BS Midway as not much people pass by
BS isnt as popular anymore but I think its still packs it punch and has great airtime. None the less we have NO idea what could be going to CP in 2015... Im thinking so hard...

I have to congratulate Cedar Point on the fine job they're doing preventing any kind of leaks this year, unlike some of the other parks in the chain. I just hope some people here lower their expectations, as I've been seeing some pretty crazy speculation and those people are setting themselves up for disappointment.

What? You mean the aqua-trax that runs to Canada and back isn't really on the list for 2015? I am so disappointed. I heard it was going to be called the Dolphin because of how it would tunnel under the water and then camelback above water to the next tunnel - like a Dolphin swimming in the Erie Ocean.

That's my best bet too, I doubt there will be a Roller Coaster in 2015... We cant rule out an Aquatrax though.. :)

After reading all of this, I'm extremely tempted to go digging into the archives to circa 1999 to see what people were predicting before the Millennium Force announcement...

Or slightly more recently, during the time period that we just had the Dragster superstructure going up slowly with no hint of what was going on with it.

Better late than never but I too noticed the raptor pic above Tony (noted on the last page)

This probably won't be the case but what if raptor was getting rethemed instead of mantis? Rename raptor,new colors, and the new style invert trains? Like I said it's probably not likely. And I would rather see mantis get rethemed. But just a thought...
