New for 2015

Usually they don't do any serious hints/clues like they are now for upcoming attractions unless it's a coaster. But I really don't think it's going to be a coaster...CP is definitely in need of a new extreme thrill ride though (something greater then maXair, PT or Skyhawk)

IMO if CP were to be doing something smaller like a flat-ride, they would be hyping it up like no other just to get everybody buttered up all summer, then announce it later in August... Example is last year with Pipe-Scream and Lake Erie Eagles, they were all over social media early in the summer searching for a family to announce what will be coming next year! This year is different, by way of us knowing that CP will be receiving a so-called thrill ride in 2015, but not much else?? Nothing but a tweet! a tweet that either set out to be solved, or was expected to never be solved! The question is...What will Rougarou be?

Remember at the GateKeeper announcement that "ghost" thing at the end said "Wait, we're not telling the whole story". Maybe this is the full part of the "story".

She's dying to meet you is on a bill-board advertising HalloWeekends.. Secretly squeezing a hint in! The pic of the wood? Saying what does this MEAN? Mean as in Mean Streak! The one thing I noticed CP promoting is 3 locations at the front of the park? The new building, the spot by Raptor and by Windseeker. There may be something goin on up there but IMO is a diversion to confuse fans by bringing them up to the front of the park! They're gonna hit everybody with a curve ball! I think it has to do with Mean Streak, but nothing to do with wood.... The wood is hinting where it's going and possibly misleading fans to think a new woodie is coming to the Point! I think Cp Is goin steel! LOL that is just my speculation! B&M, but I can't stop thinking about the clue that Skyline attractions (formed by former GCI employees) gave us on FB about their first project, which will be announced in August I believe.... The blue figure....? Knowing CF's relationship with GCI, being the first to go with Skyline would seem pretty cutting edge and realistic on CP's part!

When was the wood pic posted? It could just be for Slingshot's buildings.

Really? That type of post rules out anything major, which is a shame because a pretty reliable source told me 700 foot Aquatrax.

Heard something very secretive that only me and the people that speak to the Lemon Chill guy only knows whats coming.

You all should check out Holiday World's build up for their 2015 announcement. They have given out so many cryptic messages and clues at this point that I'm pretty sure they have crossed over and started giving hints for other parks' attractions as well.

You know, to throw people off the trail and whatnot. #66DaysAtSea

It was in today's edition of Amusement Today.

I'm not saying Fury 325 is not the name for Carowinds' new coaster, but a teaser in the park does say

"Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day… VIII . XXI / MMXIV."

That sort of suggests Centurion as the name, and August 21st as the announcement date.

I would think that 325 would indicate the height. It's possible it could be some kind of thrill ride that goes that high. Or it could be a ride that rotates at 325 degrees. Or it could be something I would never guess.

Or Fury 325 could be for a different coaster at a different park in the near future.

That's also possible. I don't know if more than 1 park will get a coaster this year. And I don't know how far ahead Cedar Fair usually files trademarks before announcements.

Fury 325 is going in Michigan's Adventure.

I'm just saying, the Carowinds' coaster will have a Roman theme, and Centurion is obviously more Roman than Fury 325.

I haven't a clue as to the timing of filing for a Trademark and its intended use.

here's my guess, not that it will be right at all.

I think that the name of the ride will be Rougarou and it will be where Cedar Creek Mine Ride is, tony posted a pic of ccmr in a tweet a little while ago. rougarou the word has connections to lousiana and the creature is said to appear in swamps, both of these could fit fronteir town. CCMR takes a good amount of space right and actually goes over the water. not sure what the thing will be yet, but one can always hope for a B&M of some type, considering CF is on a B&M kick right now. also Rougarou is hard to pronouce and even harder to spel.

But like I said I will be wrong (shoot the rapids) those going to the coaster campout though should totes look around the area of CCMR, also watchout for any werewolf themee things! it would be the perfect time and audiance to tease the new ride to!
