Taylor is right. Jr. Gemini only has one track, so the name has never been accurate. It's bugged me for years. Now I can have peace of mind. The entrance will be in Camp Snoopy now so the a rename is called for.

Also, looks like the small flats by Jr Gemini pending a name change, are to be removed completely or possibly relocated? Second, is Monster's platform changing, it's controls box is in a different location? No more vending machines by the rope ladder I take it, sweet! No more chippery stand thing, sweet. What's the box thing people are standing in front of by snoopy bounce? I take it new rides will be on FL?
You do realize you're looking at a cartoon and not engineering plans, right?

Again, someone needs to come out and say no more blacktop.
Fine - no more blacktop. Now you can stop worrying about it. :)

I am loving these new additions to the park. Good job Cedar Point on starting to fill the void in the park's line up and getting rid of that free sauna known as the Gemini midway.
On another note I am shocked by some of the comments coming from folks on various sites about the addition. Just goes to show that no matter what is done people will never be satisfied.
The green train from Millennium landed under Magnum and that is what is causing Magnum to sink!!!
The midway in the artists conception reminds me of Vortex's midway at KI. It is all brick with a swooping concrete barrier that also function as benches. I think its all a nice touch for a pretty boring midway. The lighting will be a pretty nice addition, too!
I'm aware that Carowinds lets you snap, but CP's flyer model is slightly different from Carowinds' no? That's what I'm wondering, is if that model is "snapable."
We'll find out next year for sure!

I think it's pretty good new area. Those little kiddie rides were such a waste that were sitting there anyway. Video was good, that dad was a little corny lol. I now just want either Mean Streak to completely redone like Texas Giant, or a hyper coaster like Diamond Back. Just went there and I might enjoy that more then Millennium Force! It was crazy Airtime! Also, put more fans and shades in the lines...maybe even one or the other. It get's a little hot lol.
Rob, the new installation at Michigan's Adventure is snapable. I'm assuming that's the same model.

What is this snap thing I keep hearing about?
Corkscrew, Power Tower, Magnum, & Monster/ Witches Wheel Crew 2011
^ this is some extreme snapping! Go to 1:20 into it
When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835
If the wings have enough of a range of motion, you can get the car to fly up high enough to snap (noise, not break) the support cables. Great fun!
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
The one at Michigan's Adventure snaps even if you don't want it to. This little girl was snapping worse than that guy and she didn't even mean to. She and everyone watching the ride seemed really freaked out afterwards.
In looking at the artist's rendering, which apparently the bulk of those clues came from, it looks to me that it might be still asphalt back in Camp Snoopy. If that is the case, I hope they reconsider doing all of it in concrete.
I think it's good they are putting these more general audience rides on the midway and not inside Camp Snoopy and moving what they're moving into Camp Snoopy.
KI's Surf Dog looked like a lot of fun. We didn't ride it because it looked like it had a long, slow moving line.
I'd like to know more about the restaurant, too.

I'd rather have a virtual walkthrough of the midway than either of the virtual ride renderings. Then again, Cedar Point can't be trusted to deliver on all promises (Maverick theming, Celebration Plaza), so maybe it's better that they don't go into specifics on the midway appearance just yet and get us all disappointed when it doesn't look as good.
All in all, nothing objectionable. Lame videos but the improvements seem natural. I'm hoping we get some Knott's Berry Farm-style video updates.

There's no asphalt in Camp Snoopy currently.
That's good. Sorry about that, it would have helped if we'd have ever have set foot in Camp Snoopy.

That restaurant in the left of the rendering looks like it'll be very nice. It also looks like there will be plenty of grass. Removing the blacktop and adding grass areas is worth the investment for me :).
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

Or you could look at some maps.
Welcome to the Internet. :)

Since when is an artist's conception a promise?

They flat out said Celebration Plaza was going to include certain things that it never ended up having. Has nothing to do with artist's concepts (like Snake River Falls).
Regardless, no one "promised" you anything with Celebration Plaza, Maverick, or this project. The park makes plans, and then attempts to implement them. Sometimes plans change, for all sorts of legitimate reasons.
