These are really nice changes. I wonder if they would want to swap Tilt-a-Whirl and Snoopy Bouncehouse around.
I doubt it. It doesn't look like it in the picture https://www.cedarpoint.com/images/uploads/file/CP2014_8x10_300dpi.jpg .
Another thing I notice is the clown-lollipop kiddie swing ride is getting retheamed too. I'm surprised that Jr Gemini isn't going to be themed to Peanuts, it seems to be happening to at least a couple rides.
Also, looks like the small flats by Jr Gemini pending a name change, are to be removed completely or possibly relocated? Second, is Monster's platform changing, it's controls box is in a different location? No more vending machines by the rope ladder I take it, sweet! No more chippery stand thing, sweet. What's the box thing people are standing in front of by snoopy bounce? I take it new rides will be on FL?

I hope they are not on FL. It would cause slow loading times to become even worse! Overall the refresh looks great and will be a great addition to the Point! Woohoo, No more Blacktop!!! It will be sad to see my first coaster, Jr. Gemini, "go" but I'm glad that it is getting a new lease on life as Wilderness Run!

Again, someone needs to come out and say no more blacktop. I'm optimistic that they won't have blacktop, however I take them with a small grain of salt...see my post about the banshee announcement lol

I think this is a great addition for families. Now we know someone else (CW) is getting an "innovative interactive dark ride". The re-naming of Jr. Gemini seems kinda strange. I wonder if (Big) Gemini is going to be leaving soon? Also is Jr. Gemini getting repainted as well?? It looks brown in the rendering.
I agree devarious. IMO, tearing out the asphalt might be the the best possible part of these improvements, but I'm not going to just assume that from a rendering.
Here is an image showing the creation of Gemini Midway's current surface.
Awesome improvements! Our family is going to love it! Great job as usual, Cedar Point!

Eat 'em up, Tigers, eat 'em up!
Again...renderings only say so much...Again..banshee rendering. I'm optimistic, but not without saying, this is what it is.
Esp. considering this rendering is missing a few very minute things and changes I already posted.

The improvements look good to me. Glad to see the mostly shuttered Gemini games area get a revamp.
I don't think I'll ever be able to call FrogHopper anything other than FrogHopper. Woodstock's Airmail isn't so bad compared to Kite-eating Tree at KI though (yes that is really the name).
Finally, let me be the first but not the last to say...
Pipe Scream is not a coaster, but it will be lots of fun.

Yawn! As expected, lots of letdown after all those 26 pages of predictions, hopes, and dreams.
BTW... Great family name for the 2014 improvements - Fail(e).
Now that CP made it's plans for 2014 public what are you going to do?
"I'm going to Disneyworld!"
Now I will say...I never got a chance to ride the screamin eagles or whatever when they were at KI and I know the fanboys already are jealous of CP..what's the ride like, it looks pretty nifty

I like the new additions. The question I have is if you can snap those flyers :)

Michigan's Adventure and Carowinds let you snap.

You didn't need to go any further than Planet Snoopy to find a Kite Eating Tree.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the lighting over the midway (in the rendering). I hope that portion of the rendering is accurate. That will make that area much more appealing in the evening. Though I wonder what that would mean for the Halloweekends Parade.

I agree with Bigmal, switching Tilt-A-Whirl and the Snoopy Bounce House will round out the "new" (classic) midway.
