I like it, Pipe Scream especially. I am disappointed in the Jr Gemini name chance, bit I like that they're moving it into camp snoopy, it looks as if Pipe Scream will take its place.
I guess what's left to do is look back at the clues.
I wish Breakers was having inside refresh this offseason.
Furniture, carpet, TV in the rooms all need upgrades.
Well I was way off. But I do like the better midway. Hopefully other areas of the park get some TLC in the coming years.
I don't have kids but the flying eagles should be a fun "date ride."
I'm also going to take a sick enjoyment of people getting upset that it isn't a 500' 160mph coaster that they want.
Nice additions! Nice to see some family rides coming back into the park!
Just need to keep Fast Lane off of these two new, low capacity rides!

So I'm just wondering, is Pipe Scream considered a coaster to bring the count back up to 17? Because Kings Island, as a park, considers theirs a coaster but many sites including RCDB disagree.
I called it! Nice move CP! I will say, however, that the thing I'm looking forward to the most is NO MORE BLACKTOP!!!
Leave the hypercoaster alone

No. CP clearly lists Pipe Scream as a thrill ride.

Snoopy's Surf Dog (identical to Pipe Scream) at KI carries a 44" height requirement and the flyers are a 36" height requirement at other Cedar Fair parks. Most definitely a step in the right direction!
I like the new additions. The question I have is if you can snap those flyers :)

Exactly! Gemini's structure trapped so much hot air in there it was unbearable during the summer.

So Cedar Point is clearly contradicting their sister park which boasts at having "more kids' roller coasters (four) than any other amusement park in the world." The 4th being considered Surf Dog.
To me, it looks like on the left of the overhead picture, there is a new eatery. Might there be another announcement about that coming later? Maybe they are working out franchise details or something still? That would be another step in the right direction - especially if it is something of good quality.
They didn't say if they are moving those Hampton circular rides from GCA anywhere else, did they?

I don't know that anyone outside of enthusiast circles cares about how it's classified. Regardless, CP lists PS as a thrill ride in the written and video announcements.

Pipe Screen and Lake Erie Eagles!!!!!
I never ridden a ride like it but have always wanted to! Awesome Addition!!!
And Lake Erie Eagles!!!!!!
This ride will be AWESOME!! Carowinds has a ride just like it in their planet snoopy. Its a blast to see who can get the highest.
Two new flat rides = awesome
The Crystal Method is the only way to find The Winner!
These are really nice changes. I wonder if they would want to swap Tilt-a-Whirl and Snoopy Bouncehouse around.
They said that Lake Erie Flyers was an updated version of a classic ride. How is this any different than the "classic" flyers?
I like the additions. Did I miss something though? Where did they say that the blacktop was coming out?
