By just assinging people a seat number alone cuts down the load time by a large amount of time, and if they ahve about 4-6 people checking restraints alone, and since I beleive Giant Frisbees have no seat belts the interval should be quite shourt.
PKI only has two people checking restraints.
Also, Huss Giant Frisbees do have seatbelts.

Jeff why did you delete my post about CP's next ride being a dilerium type ride? I really want you to answer this because its not like im making this up just for attention. I'm not a first time poster thats just making stupid posts I really heard this information from a cedar point employe. I lost my interest in this site after last season and I found out something interesting from a CP employe so I decided to tell everyone here about this if I was making this up I would of said that I heard they were building a big huge roller coaster not a dilerium. Please do not delete this post I want to know your reason for deleting my post about some info I recieved I thought that was the point of this site.

I posted this on 7/26/04 asking why my thread about a new dilerium ride was deleted. Oh yea i got this information from the dippin dots guy last summer :) *** Edited 12/7/2004 12:50:08 AM UTC by TUBBY***
I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Tubby,
Jeff loves deleting posts. It's just his way of letting people know he's in charge. It's a power trip thing i think.
I love these people who think the internet (and messageboards in particular) should be a democracy. Well people, here's a free politics lesson for you: The internet, and especially message boards, are dictatorships. They always have been, always will be.
If you don't like it, go make your own message board. Then when someone posts something completely assinine, you and your two readers (because that's all you'll have) can all vote on whether or not to delete the post.
I'll stay here where Jeff's method of moderation seems to be working.
Goodbye MrScott

Lol, yeah Dave that really bothers the hell out of you, I think you bring it up in every Trip Report you write about PKI, I really didnt notice it when I rode it. :)

a) A second exit gate. Ever notice the traffic jam on Delerium when everyone tries to exit at once?
Terry: I asked you once to not post here if you're just going to pick fights. The only posts that get deleted are those made by people who act like a moron.

Ah...the off season...
I think teachers need to assign more homework to keep the kiddies occupied and leave the posting to people who act more like adults.

Ok time to move one or two of the webcams off of Dragster, so we can see construction of this ride, and so we can see the drastic change of the game area.

As for the 1500 predicted capacity of Dragster, is totally different.Dragster was suppose to have 6 trains running at all time. As far as I know, if dragster had all six trains running, and each car only held 16 people and the way the ride is loaded an unloaded they would come extremly close to that interval. If Dragster had worked properally from day one and did everything it was suppose to do like run 6 trains efficently Im sure its capacity would come very close to 1500 with the crews they have working it. *** Edited 12/7/2004 12:19:14 AM UTC by RockingRollerFarm***
Correction: Dragster is MORE efficient by only running 5 trains. While running 6 trains, you must wait for each pair (Load, Unload, Hold) trains to move forward before launching can commence. Loads must move up to Launch, Unloads to Load, and Holds to Unload before that first train out in Launch can be dispatched.
By only running 5 trains, Hold 2 is almost always open, which needs to be the case in order for the Launch position train to be dispatched. That one open block allows everything to move much more quickly.
Now, if the ride was designed with a Hold 3 position, than yes, 6 trains would be even more efficient. But, as it stands, the 5 train operation is what works, and what keeps the line moving. You'd be waiting in line a lot longer if the ride ran 6 trains.

The construction of the ride itself will take all of two or three days. PKI's ride went up overnight.

I think it would be cool to have a cam there even to see site prep and construction, just of that area in general. All of the existing cams
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
...are near the back of the park and the one on dragster facing the front doesnt show anything up close.

I'd rather see more of a "person-perspective" on the webcams than the wide views they have; the current web cam setup doesn't interest me.
I am getting tired of the side view of TTD and MF. I would like to see a webcam on the coasters restaurant pointing down the midway or on the Sky Ride Station by the Raptor showing the midway. It will give some cool views of things during the offseason. I like the other two where they are. Seeing the park from 360' level of TTD never gets old.

It would be nice if Cleveland would move their cam once in a while, although it was nice to point it out to friends while we were walking down the midway.

Gravity, I knolw that TTD is much more efficent with only 5 trains and thats why they do it. What I was saying that if they were able to run 6 trains efficently like they had originlly hoped for the ride capacity would have been higher. Unfotunatly they were not able to run 6 trains efficently and 5 runs better, theres no doubt about that. CP definatly orriginally intended to run 6 trains on dragster without any backup/stcking problems, and give the ride a capacity of 1500, but unfortunatly its not a pefect world and Dragster can only run 5 trains efficently, but if they could run 6 the line would be mooving faster.
Loading and launching the trains in a shorter time is what holds back 6 train operation. If the ride had the orginally planned 30 second launch intervals the capacity would be awesome. Though it seems 40 second intervals work good since the loading takes about the same time.
