With using only one chute, what used to be a real people eater on hot days now has pretty poor capacity and is really a shadow of its former self.
Uh, they were definitely using both chutes on the day I went 2 weeks ago.

What was the "incident" a few years back?
I think he's referring to the structural integrity and near collapse of one of the caves on the ride, forcing their removal.

There is no room on MF Island for anything. There is hardley any room for MF. I was talking to a few workers there (Katie was one of them, [sarcasm]and the Lemon Chill guy[/sarcasm]) and they say there is nothing that can be build over there. I saw it this week and it looks like some landscaping.
Also, no one can be on that island without a supervisor and a maintenence employee. If there was going to be a new ride, they would have said something.
There was also piles of dirt on the beach, does that mean they are building something on the beach? Again, sarcasm.

If they were building something for next year, we would already know about it? I beg to differ.
It's been very rare for Cedar Point to announce their additions during the season. The only ride we knew about this early in the season was Dragster and that was a special case since they had to pour the footers so early so they could continue construction in August. Even then we weren't given the details of the ride until January. We didn't learn about the addition of MF until late July.

Considering their latest trend in coasters, the next one they build (whenever it will be, I doubt it'll be next year) better have some substance to it. MF was great, but WT and TTD aren't really what I consider true coasters. Sure they've got speed and height, but that's about all they have. What happened to actually going somewhere?
