Gatekeeper Test runs

1 vote for Tony on the post of the month! :) Has anyone been able to go near the Point to verify that they were or still are testing? It's kind of hard for me to do this from the middle of the country lol I find it odd that on the website, the link to the webcams has been removed, yet the mobile app still has them available??? Don't everyone check at once, we still have the problem of the cams being "shut off" between 8:30 and 9:00 on tuesday. Hope to hear something soon. Have a great Friday everyone!

I have heard from a few employees that they watched Gatekeeper's first test run. They of course couldn't take pictures or videos.

So when do we think the cams will go 'live' again? Right around opening day or maybe earlier once they feel it is ok to have them back up?

So still think it is odd you really need to exit the park to get some really good shots. The entrance plaza will be busy.

Did anyone notice the trains are more bronzish then gold? They are super ark compared to the animations.. I definitely like the yellowish gold over the penny color. It still looks pretty amazing going over the lift. :)

I believe this is just one of the colors of the trains since it has been said that there will be 3 different shades of gold

Plus, you're comparing a rendering to the real thing. Even the lightest of the gold colors will look different when compared to the rendering.

The rendering got blue track right..........

It is like that for Leviathan. You get better shots outside the park then it.

Happened to be out at Battery Park yesterday with my family around 5:30 and just as we were getting out of the car saw the last maybe third of the ride. could really hear it. (that's what made us look over as my daughter starting screaming because she was so excited.)
