Gatekeeper Test runs

A little off topic, but it looks as if most of GateKeepers lighting package is on tonight!

Lights at the bottom of almost every support? ::drooooool::

Hopefully they will be testing the lights on the Keyhole towers as well tonight. I want to see how awesome those look.

There are quite literally lights at every support. There are what I assume are LED color washes around the keyholes. There were dudes working on them today.

If you look at all the other web cams, the other light packages are getting tested as well. You can see Millennium Force and Power Tower lit up as well.

I bet that is amazing in person

Those supports are going to COVERED in muffleheads & mayflies.

The sign looks to be finished in that photo, lights and small bushes!

I'm pretty sure we're well beyond testing at this point.

This is a little off topic but has anyone heard if they're going to have a single rider line for GateKeeper like they do for Maverick?

From Screamscape (I know, not the most reliable, but this sounds pretty truthful):

"Good news from Cedar Point…. It seems they opened up Gatekeeper to the park staff earlier today for some test runs and the reports in so far say it is as wonderful as it looks. The keyhole elements are nice and apparently you get some airtime as well on the “twists”. Good Morning America was on site as well filming footage of Gatekeeper in action for a future segment rumored to air on Monday morning."

Is it really that big of a secret that a great many people have been on the ride by now?

Screamscape is reporting that Good Morning America was at the park filming for a segment said to be aired on Monday morning. I wonder if this has anything to do with the POV not being released until then.

According to the tv schedule it is going to air on the 10th.
