Gatekeeper Test runs

^ I can already imagine riding Gatekeeper at night with hardly any lights on going through the course! Sounds fun :)

After a few years without internet or Cedar Point I'm back. If the season pass center at the park opens May 1st as planned I'll be sure to get some photos and videos of gatekeeper after I process my platinum pass, and maybe some shots from Battery Park. Anyone else excited for Gatekeeper ERT at Coastermania? I'll be there with the GOCC.

I plan on being there for Coastermania, I just need to ask off as soon as I get up to CP.

It can be done. I can't do it, but my cousin has no cell phone, computer or any other electronic gadgets. She says that her life didn't get harder without all that crap but got easier. But then again she's a vegetarian, so she is a little weird.

^ That seems like she's living the Amish way of life! I would go crazy without a computer! Most people now and days have the smart phones, but they are one up on me because I still have flip phone. I must be a minority because of that, but I don't care because I don't need one. I would get distracted by it at work.

The few years with no CP was worse, I'm with Shawn I use a $30 motorolla brick from overstock.com the only technology I need is LSM and cable launches and some wingrider trains.

Just food for thought...but remember during the announcement speech for gatekeeper they stopped the recording right as it was saying "but that's not all..."? I'm wondering is that has anything to do with why they are holding off on the POV till may. is it possible there may be another element/theming they have yet to install and don't want us to see yet?

After seeing the layout, I was thinking it would be cool for the helix and bunny hop after the MCBR to be built inside a building to kind of pay homage to disaster transport. Could be possible. That being said, I don't think there will be any surprises like that.

It probably would not be adding anything to the track because it was already compled. Just an idea, it could be something like Gatekeeper jr near the plaza...

That's not going to happen. Atleast in the immediate future.

I don't know, the more I think about it, I see a slight possibilty that maybe one of the trains has the 2 back rows reversed. What other surprise could there be really, we've seen photos from the coaster and off the coaster. Just being the Devil's Advocate here.

Maybe thats why they ran it backwards in the promo video! Hmmmm... ;)

Really, the park should have never done that in the video, look at how much confusion it caused, esp. with the GP :)
