-Isn't it funny how the entrance is going exactly where the render showed it would be. -_-
That webcam can be viewed larger.

And don't worry, we're all coaster dorks here
couple of good shots from the new web cam location:

No trees were harmed in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
Now that I see the true spacing between the keyholes, do you think that will be quite a snap to flip you from one side and then over to the other to face the other way? Just hoping this is fun but not painful.
So, studying the new cam vantage point , leads me to a couple of inquiries. On the left of the view, all of the lockers are now gone, where will that capacity be relocated to?
And secondly, what is known about that amazing old tree?
No Mike. I mean it could be painful but if they thought it was because of the space they would have designed it differently
And Mike, If it is like any other wing coaster, The ride will be totally different on the inside seats as it is on the outside seats.
Sorry for the mess. Signature under construction.
Yeah its supposed to be a different experience on each side which is cool because it will make people want to try it twice
Oh I hope to ride both sides and inside/outside. Just that Maverick looks fun and I had my opening year rides but some of those turns are just painful. But this is a new design and I have never been on a wing coaster. I am excited to get to ride this.
IMO, Maverick is the best coaster in the park if you know how to ride it.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
As long as you keep your head back it's great. If not your head can get banged around a little. But keeping your head back and relaxing your legs leads to some great airtime, especially out of the tunnel
^ Also never wear anything loose like the ride operators tell you. It will fly over the bunny hills. :)
I've been to nearly all the Cedar fair parks (and quite a few six flags), and I must say Maverick is still my favorite roller coaster. I've never experienced any pain, except for the occasional thunder thigh smash at the end, but I'm always too busy wiping my tears of joy to notice.
Intamin aside, I really like the feeling of modern B&M coasters (Diamondback, Behemoth, Leviathan, etc.)...I always wanted a coaster like it at CP, and I'm guessing GK will provide that.
