Maybe, if we talk about it enough, they really won't do anything.....;)
Yes, the construction workers and planning dept. are reading this thread and they are planning to knock down the front gate and just leave a big opening with turnstyles and scan computers. No roof, and the coaster will pass over the gate, but without towers. Just ugly nets hanging from the track to catch phones and shoes like Diamondback has. :)
Alright guys, I know your kidding, but I'm hoping that we see something happen so that way all the questions about the front gate will go away.
The thing about waiting for something to happen is that regardless of what does or doesn't happen, you'll find out at some point.
Patience.....is most certainly a virtue. :)

It's funny because I don't have enough patience to listen to that song. ;)

So have they done many more footers yet for the rest of the course? Seems like I dont see much in the front of the park yet. Are they waiting on something? Realize the first hill will have lots of work to do but wondering when they will be able to continue onward with construction of the ride.
Footers for the rest of the course are complete, minus the towers that have to be put in at the main entrance.

The impression I got at the Great Ohio Coaster Club tour was that the track was not all there yet. But, I never heard that question directly asked/answered.

No trees were harmed in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
Question. With the concrete foundations being built by the front gate, how long will it be before they demolish the front gate?
Again, that's something nobody here would know. The people that do know are the ones managing the construction. You just have to be wait and see.

Ohio Coaster Club's FB page is reporting that official word from the park is that the front gate is coming down.
As one of the former believers that the Main Gate was staying- I am glad to hear for sure what's happening. I am excited that we actually are getting a brand new gate. Can't wait!
I am thinking that there will be new upgraded touchscreen kiosks for ticket purchases. Has that been discussed?
They finally started demolition of the turnstiles and the heavens rejoiced. :)
