Sorry, Bob, wrong.------------------
Great!! As long as you are not pulling our collective legs, I'm happy to be wrong about OLY's "short" drop.
Based on other discussion that I've seen since my previous post, I think that even I might have the correct numbers with my 120/420/400. Go on now Jeff, tell me I'm still wrong.

Mr. Halo said:Oh, and Coasterbob, I think you would be hearing about what once was the world's tallest coaster, the Blue Streak (no, not that one!):
If you count this no longer existing coaster (torn down in 1941), Gemini was never the tallest coaster in the US ever, just the tallest existing coaster.
Holy Cow, Mr. Halo ! I got shivvers down my back just reading about THAT Blue Streak. I'm sure that the info about that coaster is common knowledge to you "real" enthusiasts. I have sure learned a lot since starting to read this forum just two months ago.
For any of you who haven't done so, click on Mr. Halo's link to read about a very classic, hair raising coaster from the early 20th century.

I'm sure you must have meant that you got "Shivering Timbers" down your back.

its no higher then the tower power. and thats at 300 feet. I have heard about them extending the track past the supports but can only see another 30 -50 feet doing so.
Wrong.... Look at Gravitys picture. That's the perfect angle to tell the story as the new coaster is directly behind PT in that shot.
#16 doesn't just look taller... It is taller.
