CP coaster for sale?

If it is cedar point and they are planning to get rid of DT a flyer would be a top choice but what about a Dive Machine?

I hope they don't get rid of MS but Have Intamin retrack it with prefab!

I would like to see a floorless with a jo-jo roll replace Mantis.

Ultimate Ride= Expidition G Force
Best US Ride= Millenium Force

djDaemon - It's popularity and the fact that it is one of CP's few Family Coasters that aren't too intense. Also it's Cedar Creek theming, use of the lagoon and history make it a keeper - besides the fact that the Frontier section of the park would be pretty lame without a runaway mine train ride.

DT and DD (even WWL) are the first likely candidates if CP has to lose something.

Cyber: I got ya... I just wasn't sure what your reasoning was - thought maybe you had some "inside info" perhaps.

I agree about its history and especially with how well it fits in with FT. Couldn't they (ignoring history) remove and sell it, then put in a new mine ride coaster somewhere where it could take up less space? CCMR isn't the most space-efficient coaster in the park, thats for sure.

Ok, either I had some bad meat on my sandwich at lunch or what I just read above gets the honor of worst post in the history of the internt.

Can we keep that one and put it on the front page?

Kudos to you CP_bound. That shoot's my theory to heck. I'd say maybe they're taking SRF, but I would see that as unlikely.

I don't think they were looking for a ride for Western Playland. From the article, it sounds like the Western Playland owner wasn't even there.

My attempt to ask Tony and Tyler seems to have fallen through because I sent it in late last night, and it still hasn't shown up.

You all realize Tony and Tyler do things other than the blog, right? You also realize they can't just spill their guts about everything, right? You also realize that they get bombarded with the same questions 10,000 times a day right? Please for the love of god, be nice to Tony and Tyler!

The post I was referring to has been deleted. Someone got ahold of some bad drugs.

Yeah, Walt, I guess you are right about the ride not going to Western Playland. I thought that it was going to go into the new location he was moving the amusement rides to. It seems weird that the mayor would rather open a brand new amusement park to compete with Western Playland rather than forming a partnership or something.

The article was a little confusing as to what the mayor wants to do and how Western Playland fits into the picture. I suspect there's more to the story.

I highly doubt it would be Corkscrew or even the Mine Ride. Don't forget, if i am right on this, Mine Ride was there first coaster to use tubular steel for the tracks, and Corkscrew of course was a world record breaker for them. I think it would be a wise decision to get rid of DT, but wouldn't this ruin there record for the most coasters or aren't they focusing on that anymore??

Wow, I didn't know I wasn't allowed to ask them a question. Oh, and I did more than ask them a question, I complimented them on the parade as well. No need to jump all over me, just thought it would be interesting to see their response to it.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

If they sell WildCat, i will never go back to Cedar Point again.

Where is the old Frontier Lift Station?

It's not the best photo, but here's a shot.
