In the state of Michigan, MA's only other coaster competition is a Galaxi and 3 Jeepers locations. The list of MA's 'superlatives' practically writes itself.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.

Isn't it only the 2nd steel looping roller coaster? :)
Huh?
Ride on, my friends!

We need another clue, you'd think it would come out today. Any idea on past times how long they let the clue set in?
Does anybody know if they are relieving clues everyday? If that's the case we should see another one around midnight then right?
I don't think they will release it at midnight since there is no one to release it. Maybe in the afternoon tomorrow.
I think "Stratosoar" is actually Canada's Wonderland's new ride.

Might be an S & S freefly!! Hence the name Stratosoar, you "soar" above the ground with no track above or below you.

Hmmm, sounds like Stratosoar could be for them. The whole time, Stratosoar sounded more like a flat.
There are multiple teasers in CW saying: "How high?", "Look up!" ect..
I am pretty confident that Stratosoar is not our ride. I am feeling either the GeeSeeEye or the Beemer.
^One can only hope! ;)
I mean, by them putting back the ride to 2010 and putting up STR because of the economy wouldn't make sense for a Star Flyer. Are Star Flyers that expensive that they couldn't put it last year? Correct me if I'm wrong as I said on the last page as I haven't checked.

If you look at Cedar Fair's spending for next year. There is a large number unaccounted for. What if Cedar Point is doing both. A wooden coaster, and a flat ride. Cedar Point did say they skipped a year, because of the economy. Just a thought on the issue, because they said no one will be disappointed. Maybe also that is why there are so many hints that don't work together.
Where did you find how much they are spending next year? Plus keep in mind you said Cedar Fair not Cedar Point..so maybe whatever CW is getting will cost a lot?

The spending was on Screamscape somewhere. (Sorry I will find the link later)
But CF still has 45 - 55 million dollars unaccounted for 2011.

Well than it must be true.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Right here is the link to the spending. Remember what I said was just a thought. I just threw that out there to hear if anyone else agreed.
during the Q2 conference call Cedar Fair confirmed that they would spent between $80-90 million on Capital Expansion for the 2011 season. So far, all we’ve seen announced has been very small fry in terms of dollars spent. $9 million on Planet Snoopy in Valleyfair, $8 million on Planet Snoopy at Dorney and $5 million on it at Worlds of Fun. That represents $22 million so far, and I doubt the rumored Starlight attraction for Carowinds will cost more than $2-3 million. Save up another $5 to $10 million for the rumored StratoSoar at Cedar Point, and we’re still looking at somewhere between $45-55 million unaccounted for so far for the 2011 season.

If we don't are not getting a flat that leaves even more for a major coaster ($55-65 million) CF could be seeing 3 new coasters if they average $20 million each. But more realistically I think CP gets the star flyer, CW gets a major new coaster, Knotts gets a new coaster, MA gets a water park expansion OR CP gets a cheaper GCI/B&M coaster, CW gets the starflyer, Knotts gets a major coaster, and MA gets a water park expansion.

Hmmm...Mondial ought to consider adding pneumatic cylinders to kick the arms in and out on that Wind Seeker thing....(ever ride a Huss Swing Around or Bee Bee?)
What was the ride at Kennywood that used to sit on top of the old outdoor theater? Was it a predecessor to the Swing Around? (I can't find any pics of a Bee Bee to make a comparison.)
There was talk about a ride that would bring back memories or some such nonsense?
In that case the most logical ride for Cedar Point to put in would be some revival of the Allan Herschell Sky Wheel.
A new double wheel on the peninsula would be the...what do the kids say...the shizz?
It isn't hard to find people who are *still* mad at Cedar Point for taking theirs out. I guess it's their "Flying Eagles".
So who is the Nungester of CP, anyway? ;)

Ohh okay thanks for the link..wow that is a lot of money. Oh and sorry i wasn't trying to shut down you idea i was just throwing out there that it was CF not CP.

Here is the exact ride that was at kennywood. It's still for sale if you want it...
