Wow......clueless

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Wow, I haven't been rolled in a while. It's ok though, I actually like the song. :)

Is there water back it in yet? I want to get video of them testing it again. Has any been to Cedar Point today?

Not only is there water back in the ride but tonight after the park closed was employee ride night on Shoot The Rapids. I watched the ride run until about 11:00pm and it attracted a bunch of employee riders. The water canons were working also :)

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Probably a long shot, but I'm wondering if we will get a sneak preview tonight for platinum pass holder ERT.

Riding a water ride in sunless, low-70's temps with a 10mph breeze? I'll pass, thanks. ;)

So glad to hear the ride is opening tomorrow!

We were there yesterday and the only thing I can note is that the boats do seem to travel slowly, but they were sending them one right after another really quick. You'd have one about to start on the first lift and one not too far behind it at all where they can first be hit with the water cannons.

:)

How many boats were running? All 10?

Kyle2154's avatar

I didn't count, but there were a lot of them. There was constantly one dropping, one climbing, one going through the cannons on both sides, etc., etc...

Everyone on paddlewheel was buzzing when we went by/under it and it was testing...people are so ready for this ride to open.

Now about that webcam...

If they're going to open it up to the public tomorrow we should see a webcam within the week, IMO. Unless there are technical difficulties there'd really be no sense in "hiding" the ride if thousands a day are riding it.

I agree, lets get the web cam up and running,so we can see whats going on.

I'd be surprised if the delayed opening for StR hasn't allowed them time to ensure the cam is ready to go live tomorrow.

Brandon

The cam is up on the photo booth looking like its ready to go. I hope they turn it on!

First rollback on Dragster July 23 2003 since then 15

It'd be a nice way of making sure we can all "be there" when it happens if the cam could somehow be up and running tomorrow morning.

Give the website quite a few hits too if they could spread the word on twitter and FB that it'll be live at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.

I don't think CP benefits monetarily from hits on their website, considering they have no ads. Ignoring the value in dissemination of info to potential guests, each visit actually costs them money.
