I'm 6'2" and yes, it's a tight fit, but it's no worse than C.C. Mine Ride. My girlfriend is 5'2" and weighs as much as a sack of potatoes. It's always an interesting time at the station platform.
^Same with ny girlfriend! Whenever we go on a ride where you have to share a seat belt, I'm worried she is going to fall out LOL
Im hoping for Dinosaurs Alive! also a Soak City expansion and general park updates especially on paddlewheel!

I was rather skeptical about whether I would appreciate KI's exhibit. I came away very impressed.
The problem with trying to install something like this at CP is that it simply eats up too much real estate. Unless the park were to get rid of Paddlewheel Excursions and fill in the lagoons, there's just not enough room available to properly do something like this (at least not in any manner resembling how it was set up at KI).

I'm hoping a dino exhibit doesn't come to CP. These things are popping up everywhere lately, and it's only a matter of time before the fad has run its course with the current crop of young'ns. As Mike points out above, such an exhibit at CP would require a lot of real estate (read: charm removal). Unless it would utilize a plot dedicated for future attractions (meaning the charm would've been removed regardless), it would be a waste, in my opinion.
For example, both the Detroit Science Center and Detroit Zoo are featuring dinosaur exhibits this summer. We took my nephew to the DSC exhibit, and while he enjoyed it, he had already seen the one at the zoo. I can't imagine he'd be chomping at the bit to drive to Sandusky to see what to him would be the exact same thing.

Maybe the rumor about paddlewheel being taken out is partially correct. What if they turn it into a dinosaur cruise. They could take out all those very out dated animatronics and put in some dinosaurs in their place. If they did that, maybe I would find the Dino exhibit pretty cool.
Now that might actually be something interesting to consider. That's a clever idea.

I think we can pretty much rule out a coaster and or a major attraction for 2012 since their isn't anything going such as hints, construction, significant markers, etc. That kinda sucks...
Yes it does suck. Personally, I've been wanting a new coaster since 2009 or so, saying maybe next year, maybe next year, maybe next year. Last year when WindSeeker was practically confirmed, I heard a lot of "now there HAS to be one next year" type of comments.
Now for 2013, there HAS to be a new coaster ;)
SSL, that's a great idea! Not so much as a good option for CP, but what might ACTUALLY happen. Plus, when Tony & Tyler gave hints about WindSeeker, one of the clues they gave was a dinosaur (...nothing to do with WindSeeker)- that makes me think.
Plus, the new Pointcast host, Becca, hasn't even touched on next year. Is this on purpose?
I was there during Coasting for Kids and upon riding paddlewheel around Millennium Island, everyone on board including the person guiding the boat heard very loud thud noises on Millennium Island. They sounded like audio effects coming from speakers, but I couldn't see anything. I don't know if they are new sound effects for the boat ride, but even the ride op yelled "Whoa!" so I'm not sure if it's for Halloweekends or if it's that of a Dino Alive coming to Cedar Point.
I forgot to mention this in my last post- but is the Dinosaurs Alive thing just speculation or do we have evidence?
As far as the thud noises you heard, I think it's probably new. I was there for halloweekends twice last year and I don't remember thud noises, just people jumping out and scaring. Come to think of it, the Dinosaurs Alive could double as an add-on to the halloweekend attraction taking place there.
There's a pretty loud air cannon on the island for Halloweekends. Or at least there was 2 years ago.

I'm starting to agree with you guys about Disaster Transport. I would love if they took that out and put in a nice wooden roller coaster in that spot. Can you imagine a good size wooden roller coaster in that spot? I know this would affect their coaster line-up count, but I think it would be worth it!! Especially with my comment I made yesterday about there not being much leg room on that ride. Now some of you will argue that what about the Toy Factory during Hallo weekends? Well maybe they could build another building somewhere else. These are just ideas I would suggest for Cedar Point.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but isn't this the exact same exhibit that ran during Sea World Ohio's final year? I distinctively remember a large animatronic dinosaur exhibit on my last trip there, although the only thing that makes is memorable for me is the sudden downpour that cropped up when we were halfway though. I think something similar has been at the Toledo Zoo somewhat recently. I guess if it makes money it makes money, but it just doesn't seem very unique or long-term enough to be worth freeing up the space for it.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
According to the ops for the attraction at Kings Island, KI has a ten year lease on their exhibit. So if CP were to build one, it would be the second one at an amusement park in the state -- not that this ever dissuaded them in the past, but still...it just doesn't seem to me like the kind of thing they would duplicate in two Ohio parks.

Ten years? Wow. I hope they got one hell of a bargain. As in, buy 1 year get 9 free.

Not sure if this was the sound you heard, but I remember last year that STR had a deep bass sound coming from the "exploding" or getting ready to explode, moonshine still, on the island.
