Beverage pricing: They're still not listening

Crazyhorse, there is a fountain in Camp Snoopy at the bathrooms next to the waterfall. Also a stand alone fountain near Jr. Gemini.

Got ya. But there is one right outside the entrance to Planet Snoopy near the kids restaurant. It is also stand alone. ;)

I think there is a fountain in Planet Snoopy - next to the train. And there is one just outside of it, very near to the Snoopy statue.

But what Planet Snoopy really needs is a bathroom.

Is there one in the first aid center? I always use the one in the Joe Cool Cafe.

Do not know if someone has said this, I saw on my past trip this past weekend that the 32 oz soft drinks are 5.99, 24 oz is around 3.60. They are giving them away at the local Meijer on 250 for .99 cents fountain drinks.

I would be red faced about this if I were Kinzel.

I have been to just about every park chain, and cedarfair is the only chain that I do not eat or drink at.

All I have to say about this is I went to Universal Studios after quitting at CP, and my jaw dropped when I forked over $87 to get into Islands of Adventure. I mean, I went on this road trip to FL just so I could go to WWHP, and I wasn't going to turn back then.
If there is one thing CP has right, it's the ticket prices. You can just be a cheapskate and drink water all day. I would have quests complain to me all the time about prices, and ask me where the cheapest food was. That always made me laugh. I'd tell them about free water, and the only good deal I have found for food would be the gargantuan scoops of icecream you get at the Toft's by the skyride. TOTALLY worth every penny.
Also (well this was true with the vending machine in our break area) sometimes if you press multiple buttons multiple pops come out! But I was only lucky once.

The closest bathrooms in proximity to Planet Snoopy (I had no idea there was one in Joe Cool, but I guess that makes sense) is the one right next to the Matterhorn and there is one over near Maxair and such. I always directed people to the Matterhorn one since the other ones reside in the elusive and ever-mysterious area 1. I don't think there is a bathroom in the First Aid center.

That's amazing Islands of Adventure tickets are 87 dollars, and I thought Disney 63 dollars was high.

Again, if you're paying full gate price, anywhere, you're not doing your homework. Either that, or you're just in a situation where time doesn't permit trying to find a discount.

I'd put my money on not doing your homework about 95% of the time, though.

oh yeah, I did not have time to do my homework, though. I was not planning on going on a road trip to FL and it worked out to where we left maybe 2 days after I quite CP. So we just went there, and threw all caution to the wind.
I would have done my research, had I had time to do it. But I have no regrets, it was worth going to WWHP

There is a bathroom in the First Aid center, but I think it's kept for First Aid-related bathroom issues. I had to go in there to take my drug test for Ride Pride a few years ago, most of FA is beds, but there is a small bathroom, too. Probably for the nurses!

Oh yeah! I totally had to pee in a cup in that bathroom. Good times, good times...

The price of a large soft drink is now $5.99.

Was walking off of disaster transport, and noticed the price at the cheese on a stick stand(that was closed btw).

Now, cedar point is OVER twice as much for the same size drink at Disneyworld.

Guys, everyone needs to calm down. Either pay $30 more for admission, or suck it up and pay the extra $3 for a pop. Or just drink water for free whenever you want to.

Yep at $5.99 they are asking a lot, Pepsi is a major sponsor and you would think the park would be getting a large discount of even free amounts.

I believe it costs the park just a few cents for a 32oz cup of pop, including the cup.

Extra $3?

More like an extra $5.95 per drink.

Kinda makes you love holiday world even more. It's only $42 to get in with no parking fees, free all you can drink soda, free sunscreen. It's a wonder why they smashed there attendance record this year.

So now cedarpoint is charging 2.5x as much for a soda than what Disney is charging, and $1.85 more than what six flags is charging, and almost twice as much as busch gardens.

When going to any place like an amusement park, you plan on spending more for food and drink, but this is just scalping.

^The $3 was price difference between CP's pop and Disney World's. And are we sure these prices are all for the same size of drink? Didn't someone say 5.99 was for a 32 oz? Is there a souvenir cup or anything that comes with it?

All of this said, I would take Holiday World over Cedar Point in a heartbeat. But I'd take Voyage over anything else in this universe, so that's no surprise.
