I wouldn't hold your breath for a new coaster next year. Like the general consensus has been around here, look for a flat ride coming for 2006 and something big for 2007.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if ground is broken for the 2007 project this off season, already...

I think it has to do with how the linking between the track and supports are angled. I believe that's how they determined that the Patriot is an inverted.

I know this is kind of a stupid thing to say, but who knows. Maybe If Cedar Point does get a flat this year, maybe they'll announce the 2007 attraction as well. I'm hoping they'll announce a newer station for Magnum. If thats also the case I look for a floorless to come in 2007.
I don't see what the point of getting back on topic is, there is nothing new to discuss, everyone keeps saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Yeah, but wait until we get a sign of next years ride and then start talking like crazy.
Instead of posting new topics (which we still can), we can just discuss how wrong and stupid we were about our predictions on this topic.
Including some of us who might be right. ;) (I'm not saying myself)
That'll be fun!!

(lets get the last few post until we hit 1000..)
the difference between the invert and floorless tracks are as follows..
http://www.coastergallery.com/CP/80.html Invert!
http://www.coastergallery.com/2000/sfo10a.html FLOORLESS!
http://www.coastergallery.com/1999/BGW03.html Invert!
http://www.coastergallery.com/1999/GA29.html FLOORLESS!
Ok so it looks to me that the Floorless is wider, and the supports are below the track. ;)
Make your own differences and discuss...
