The truth is, track has been showing up every night. It appears to be track from B & M but I've been sneaking onto the peninsula in the wee hours of the morning and taking all of the pieces and putting them in my basement.

Gotcha. Vince caused it ;)
As for the whole floorless debate thing, when the track comes, how would we be able to tell floorless track from inverted? IIRC, they're pretty much the same, just flipped.
2008 - Games (Area 3/Scales)
2009 - Games Supervisor
2010 - Season pass holder.
I wouldn't hold your breath for a new coaster next year. Like the general consensus has been around here, look for a flat ride coming for 2006 and something big for 2007.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if ground is broken for the 2007 project this off season, already...

I think it has to do with how the linking between the track and supports are angled. I believe that's how they determined that the Patriot is an inverted.

My cover is blown Wicked Twister 90, it had to come out some time. The pieces are really stacking up down here. Management found out that I have the pieces and they told me to hang on to them for a year.

I know this is kind of a stupid thing to say, but who knows. Maybe If Cedar Point does get a flat this year, maybe they'll announce the 2007 attraction as well. I'm hoping they'll announce a newer station for Magnum. If thats also the case I look for a floorless to come in 2007.
HOW STUPID!
;) Just kidding... But, seriously...
I doubt they'd announce a new 2007 ride before the 2006 season is over, simply because some people would skip their 2006 visit and just wait until the following year, thusly losing CP $$.

Is Magnum done being painted?
No. The back half isn't done yet.
The front half will be orange again by the time they get around to the back half.
They should really paint the rest of the track and the supports because they are really starting to look crappy. They should also paint Millennium's track. The painted their trains last offseason.
^They might not finish Millies track because it is so big. They need to repaint TTD's supports though. The yellow is now butter colored in some spots.
The construction markings in FT could be for Halloweekends, or for a roller coaster. : )

I would hope it is, since the paint color is "Moly Orange"
Goodbye MrScott
John
^Please don't get cocky like that. I would hope the color doesn't fade that fast. They just painted it.
Can we get back on topic...
...AGAIN.

I don't see what the point of getting back on topic is, there is nothing new to discuss, everyone keeps saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
Oh yeah... And Over!!!

Yeah, but wait until we get a sign of next years ride and then start talking like crazy.
Instead of posting new topics (which we still can), we can just discuss how wrong and stupid we were about our predictions on this topic.
Including some of us who might be right. ;) (I'm not saying myself)
That'll be fun!!

(lets get the last few post until we hit 1000..)
the difference between the invert and floorless tracks are as follows..
http://www.coastergallery.com/CP/80.html Invert!
http://www.coastergallery.com/2000/sfo10a.html FLOORLESS!
http://www.coastergallery.com/1999/BGW03.html Invert!
http://www.coastergallery.com/1999/GA29.html FLOORLESS!
Ok so it looks to me that the Floorless is wider, and the supports are below the track. ;)
Make your own differences and discuss...
