Any word or thought on a ride for 2006???

But by the time such a line could even be built and put into operation.. we're talking maybe 10 years down the line. Who knows what gas prices will be and what economics will be like then?

Also, there is the possibility for cleaner more efficient fuels to come out in the near future (hydrogen fuel cells). But how much they will cost is beyond me.

But I like the bus idea. Does Disney use anything like that?

I think the big reason gas is so high is the fact that our troops are still overseas over in Iraq. And it seems like everytime we lose another soldier gas goes up. My thought is get our troops out but thats another topic.

And by the way I don't find Magnum to be a knee basher. Ride Disaster Transport and Corkscrew, damn I couldn't even move my crotch on those rides....lol.

Unless you sit in the front, Magnum can be a horrible knee-killer. Even crossing my legs doesn't help, for me at least. It's funny, as much as Magnum bruises the thighs and throws you around, I still manage to stumble back on.

You do get a lot of airtime in the front car on Magnum. I find the first car and anywhere in the middle to provide good airtime.

I'm getting excited now about a new ride for 06 because were getting closer to october and the end of the season, and around that time we might see some track show up and ground breaking begin.

Wicked Twister 90 we wont see any ground break intill next week same with the tracks.(only if we could see). If any one is goin to CP tell us if you see tracks there and ground breaking going on.

I'm going next week, as well as this Wednesday. I'll make sure to lookout for the track that isn't going to be there....as well as the ground breaking that wont be going on. ;)

Yesterday i noticed a lot of strange spray-painted things in the parking lot close up by the employee gate/demon drop and inside the employee area there they had some more markings with spray paint. Some were squares and some were just lines.

Just thought i'd get everyone worked up about nothing again... :)

First of all thats a stupid theory, gas prices go up every time a soldier dies, and second what was the point of mentioning it in a new ride topic on CP website?

Anyway, I WANT a floorless, but I'm now pretty convinced that nothing or a flat ride is coming in 2006.

How about a giga log flume. Complete with 87* drop!

I just CP puts in something like a coaster. I don't care if it is a floorless or a flyer. Just as long as they get a new ride. I would really like a hyper floorie(????). With a lot of inversions.

I'm still pushing for a floorless and won't shut up on this site until we see one. I really think this year will be the year for it too because you removed Freeway, and you are selling Demon Drop. I expect track to start showing up sometime this week, next week or the week after next week. I won't be surprised if they do some work to Magnum in the off-season as well because there needs to be some kind of control for in the station. Thats another topic though.

Is Magnum done being painted?

They are suppossed to finish painting it this off-season. They ran out of time to get it painted when May came around. I think it had to do with that last week snow we had. That really screwed things up. What needs painted yet is the Pretzel Loop. Everything else is painted.

Have they painted the lift hill supports? Last time I went, it didnt look like they did.......but that WAS back in June so what do I know?:)

I'll just have to double check when I go this Wednesday.

Oh and I HATE Six Flags, it depends. Track could show up anywhere! The parking lot, SC's parking lot, next to Mean Streak, my backyard!!:)
