Here's a theory: CF built Hydra at Dorney as a test of the coaster type, similar to what they did with Xcellerator before TTD. I think that they will build a floorless in 06 which will be higher and faster than Hydra and any other floorless out there.

Maybe CP will also build a kiddie ride too because those are cheap, draw kids, help CP compete against PKI's kids area, and encourage whole families to come which equals more green for them to use in 07.

Does anybody read the various news articles CP officially writes? They always make it clear that they have no specific way of building new rides or coasters.

I think CP needs a new coaster right now, something fun and interesting may pull the people from Detroit into the park. (I really do feel ashamed living in the area that is hurting CP's attendance.)

And where does it say Kinzel wants to come out with a bang for 2007. Some kid here probably said that and half of you guys here believe it.

You know, Gomez, I've been thinking that same thing, ever since it started up, last year "We won't get another coaster till '07 cuz Kinzel wants to go out with a bang." Now, I've never heard him say this, so I have my doubts on what some people call his "going away present." Only time will tell though...

I would be in favor of that rumor. But they wouldn't be thinking, they would have already done it by now.

Question. Is Hydra taller then Dominotor?

No, Hydra is 95' with a 105' drop. Dominator is 157' with a 148' drop.

Thanks TTD 120mph and JuggaLotus. Personly I think that Kraken is a better ride then Dominotor. I hope if CP puts a floorless in, it's like that ride(not the sea theme and of course have it taller and faster).

I hope CP puts in a floorless or a flyer. I just hope they dont put in a Screamin' Swing or a top spin.

I think there won't be a coaster until 2007.

No No I think we'll see coasters in both years. You have to remember Kinzel said he wanted to leave with a bang. So He might want to leave in good fashion by building a coaster in both 2006 and 2007.

One can only hope.
