I'd like to see Purple for a track color. Purple is one Color Cedar Point hasn't used yet for track color. I think a good color support color for the new ride would be Either Yellow or a Beach Sandstone color.
I like that too. I would pick the sandstone for the supports though. I've tried that color on Hyper Rails, my coaster simulator game, and it works well with purple.

How the hell could Dragster not shake on the launch. Theres a 10,000 hp engine pulling it. Just think of the stress on the train from the launch.
About vertical lift hills: Go ride Deja Vu. The second lift goes straight up and if you like that, then theidea a 500 ft vertical lift will be right up your alley.
You think I didn't know that SFGA=toilet?!!
I was just pointing out that that's Dragsters most shakey area.

i still think CP is getting the water ride. If they didnt get it then its got to be ether a floorless or a flyer. http://www.pointxtreme.com/newsandrumors.htm check it out ! read it good. They said we could be getting one. *** Edited 8/6/2005 3:41:50 PM UTC by jkoaster***

Well i can't wait till the off season. Why do they have to torcher us? Do they like it? Is it funny to them? Why?
Bring back Boblo!
I'm gonna go ahead and guess that the higher-ups at such a major company have bigger and better things to do than wonder how to bother some enthusiasts who put themselves in the position to do have it done. ;)
I doubt anyone except for the avid enthusiasts so much as suspects anything is going on at all with the park.

Or untill we see some coaster track near Mean Streak. :)

We talked about this already a couple of pages back.(to lazy to look for it:))
They could start showing up sometime around the end of this month or at the beginning of September. Depending on the coaster.

Sweet i will look when im there end of august.( Canadian kid ) Yeah so if i see anything in the future i will let people know.
Bring back Boblo!
Well there is always the chance too that you might see it anyday now. Maybe next years attraction will start construction in September. Maybe we'll see track early like we Did for Millennium Force in 1999. I'm thinking we'll be surprised early this year. I just have that feeling.
I just hope its a coaster and not a flat ride. I'd really like to see something from B&M, but thats just me.
Btw, is it all speculation that Six Flags is getting a flyer or has there been some official press release?

Track for MF was first spotted and posted on the internet here (guidetothepoint) back in May or June of 1999, actually.
The further we progress into the season with no new word of construction at the park, the more I get the feeling that we're not getting a coaster for next year...

Sadly I'm going to have to agree with you CP_bound. If nothing happens by the end of this month, then I think we can disclose any ideas about a coaster.
I think we can forget talking about a record breaker(except for future ideas) since we would of already known if we were going to get one next year.
But there's still hope for a B&M...something(or whatever). But if we don't get any other indications of construction(more markers, tree removals, digging, etc) within the next 40 days, then we're not getting a coaster.
Let's just hope for the best.:)
