Any word or thought on a ride for 2006???

Sensors, pneumatics/hydraulics (I'm not sure what's used on the lift), brakes, structural/stress fractures/cracks/snaps/breaks... anything really.

You might say that any of the above can go wrong on any modern coaster. True, BUT when you're dealing with a train full of people moving upto and above 500 feet.. this is serious. A train rolling on the straight track, missing the connection with the track below and getting jammed in the drop positioning or tilting stage are all very serious issues. The amount of stress placed on those moving parts must be astronomical. *** Edited 8/5/2005 5:58:21 PM UTC by Grovite18***

As for color: I think that darker colors fade faster. I'm not sure about that, but I'd bet the fading would be more noticable sooner.

I like the Eurofighter idea. And I think it could be themed to fit back into FT. Paint it the Brown, deep red, adn other less suttle colors, Build it where ever they want, and call it Tumbleweed Twister. This way it still has the western/frontier theme, a new coaster, and a new steepest drop in the park. They run at about 97 degrees don't they? And im pretty sure that it can be bigger than CCMR.

Purple baby! Not blue/violet like Mantis's supports. Not fluorescent like Wildcat. Purple, with maybe green supports. THAT would be sweet.

Some of you guys are laughable. Experts in the field of coasters you know nothing about.

Remember Jumbo Jet's lift system? It was an electromagnetic helix with a very small footprint. That lift was one of the best elements of the ride, and you got this nice 360 degree view climbing the cylindrical tower.

JJ's trains were small - just two cars with something like 4 people each. It cycled fast like Wildcat.

It had some maintenance issues and I heard that the ride itself generated neck injuries due to excessive G's on the pull-out, but it and some clones still in operation (mostly in Europe).

A big coaster with a lift and layout similar to Jumbo Jet would be killer and not take up too much room. If the electro lift system doesn't sound feasible, maybe a lift cable or something mechanical like a screw auger drive could be used.

I think that a fade in colors (such as Brown) would add a unique look to the coaster.

That's right I forgot about Raptor.

A white tracked coaster would be pretty sweet. With red and blue alternating supports would also be cool. You could call it Independence Day. You could theme just like the movie. It would be around 230 ft 78 mph 11,582ft long. (random numbers) It's an alright idea. If you have a thought tell me.`

That would be pretty cool. You would have to make it unique, So it doesn't look exactly like Magnum.

(what I mean is that Magnum is almost the same thing)

More like enthusiasses! ;)

Over 11,000 feet? This ride would last forever. It could probably lap around the peninsula almost two times. Anyways, I think CP could use a coaster with black track. I think that would look neat.

Coaster Count: 147

One thing I hope is, is(lol) CP getting a new floorless or flyer, but definetly not a wooden coaster. I just think they are too bumpy and rough. I really love smooth.

P.S. Do you think TTD is as smooth as MF?

Jumbo Jets lift wasn't electomagnetic. It was electric. Motors in the trains propelled them up along the lift.

And I think MiAdv should get one.

That would be sweet if MiAdv got that next year, they definately need something.

I would say that they're about the same. Dragster's a bit (not by much) shakey on its launch, but that's about it.
