Why would CP need another coaster right now? There's already 16 other coasters to ride. This "coaster war" has slowed down in recent years, which I'm glad. It's getting old.
*Stares blankly*
If I read correctly, you would be glad if parks quit building coasters. On a CP website too. Yeah, there are 16 coasters, all of which I have ridden multiple times, and two of which have had lines over an hour on normal days for a few years simply because they are still the latest coasters. For me, there are 4 main reasons I really want a coaster:
1. New ride, new experience.
2. New look on the skyline.
3. Less lines for MF and TTD.
4. Because coaster wars are exciting, and I like CP having the most coasters in one park. There are alot of records I really don't mind, but staying The Roller Coaster Capital of the world does matter to me.

I'm not saying stop building coasters, but take it easy. Let's see balance and variety here. Don't take me the wrong way, I absolutely love roller coasters. There are parks out there that haven't added a new coaster, or even a ride for that matter, in many years. In my opinion, I just don't see the coaster war booming like it was five plus years ago. It seems like an era that is slowly fading out, but doesn't mean roller coaster construction will come to a hault.
Amusement parks have to entertain and serve everyone from the crowd, not just coaster enthusiasts.

I agree with Kylepark. I think even if Cedar Point decides to not build a coaster and Six Flags Takes over the coaster war, all of us Ohioans and Michiganers will still love Cedar Point. Because it seems like for 20 or so years we have been the park with the most coasters. I think it dates back to 1992. Someone correct me on that one please.
Anyway though I still want to see another coaster be built at Cedar Point. I think when Kinzel Retires, He'll bring in a Nice B&M Floorless coaster with a couple records and you'll probably for sure see a B&M Flier. I personally do not want to see White Water Landing go, just maybe add some theming to it, like what Busch Gardens did to their water ride, I don't know the name of it at the top of my head.
TTD 120mph I hope you were kidding, otherwise that was the most assinine statement I've heard today...
And theirs opened on time too.

Actually, they (SF) had to move back the opening date a couple of times. CP actually had their media day on the originally scheduled date although it didn't run that well that day, or during the first 2 days, but it was "available" to the public on its original date"
