A Sign of Things to Come? Is MS next?

I totally agree with you Ffej. Although Dragster had its difficulties, the ride attracted coaster enthusiasts all over the world, not to mention the general public. Cedar Point should and will probably continue on the trend of building the highest, fastest, most unique, and the BEST. A new standard wooden coaster may attract some attention but might not be the best investment for a park that is used to treating its guests with something BIG.

Let's cut the guessing and look forward to a 500ft or taller coaster by Mr.Kinzel's retierment.
It's funny that you mentioned Beast Ffej. Now that is a ride that has fallen from grace. I don't know about anyone else, but I found it simply painful when I rode it back in July. So much so that I had no intention of riding again.

MS's problem is simply that it's not that exciting. As long as you keep your back off the seat back it won't hurt.

If they did re-track it, letting them run it full speed again, it would truly be a great ride. It really has a great layout, it just crawls to slowly over the hills.

I went to King's Island last year with my family as almost a tradition, and I agree about Beast. My dad called Beast his favorite ride for years, but last year he winced with pain the whole time and claimed he'd never ride it again. I noticed it was quite rough too, but I love the atmosphere/location of that ride so much, that I'll still ride it. I'm trying to figure out if Beast has actually become much more abusive, or if we're just getting used to the smoothness of rides like TTD and MF?

I agree with you about MS also, Carnage. Especially in the second half, it just creeps through the wooden tunnels...and I hate the feeling of brakes going down a hill...it takes all the fun out of what a hill is supposed to do. CP, fix our MS please.
