With the way this conversation is going, I think another intamin log flume is a pipe dream...How about a B&M log flume?
I kind of agree with TwisterWicker77, I'm not too crazy about log flumes either.

Work harder, seagulls! You need to push Cedar Point into the sun!

It seems as if I am one of the very few who doesn’t enjoy log flumes. Maybe because I associate them with having wet soggy feet for the rest of the day. There has to be better rides that don’t get you wet.
I can’t say I’ve ever ridden a traditional log flume that got me the least bit wet. That’s my issue. What’s the point of a water ride that doesn’t get you wet. Maybe it’s because I put my feet up on the seat. But if I’m going to ride a water ride it’s because I want to get soaked. Otherwise it’s kind of pointless to me unless it doubles as a dark ride.

I generally hate being wet at all so I usually avoid water rides in general. But sometimes getting completely soaked with a group of friends as we laugh our butts off is more enjoyable than a coaster.
Change of subject, but one thing I have always wondered is why Canada’s Wonderland gets so many cool flat rides. Are flat rides what coasters are to Cedar Point? Are they just what brings the money in there. Most flat rides make me sick so I avoid them but I do enjoy watching them. Some of the ones at CW would be great additions to Cedar Point.

SkyHawk at Wondeland is super fun, but it's not easy to get flipping. I actually watched a youtube video about it to learn how before I went on lol. I'd love to see CP get one. Soaring Timbers, the new flat for this past season, was just ok. My all time favorite flat ride is a looping starship, (the one big flat that Wonderland took out recently). I wish they would have sent it to Cedar Point or Dorney but at least Dominion and Carowinds still have theirs for now.

No love for Southern Star? My wife hates it too, she told me she'd only go on it twice, once during the day and once at night. I'm sure they'll all be gone in a few years.

I have a friend who I would consider GP but he knows a good deal about coasters. When I mentioned the lack of a wooden coaster, he flat out said he doesn’t think they will ever get one because most people will see Steel Vengeance as a wood coaster anyway. As a coaster enthusiast that idea really bugs me, but I do see his point. But I don’t completely agree because of Mystic Timbers.

If CP is going for 20 coasters by 2020, I could see a small kid coaster (steel or wood) going in the area where the Extreme Sports Stadium used to be. 2019.
In 2020, I could see a huge steel coaster going in the park. Hopefully, a record-breaker.
And, if I had control of things, I would eventually take down Corkscrew and replace it with a small
non-looping GCI.
