I just logged in to do my training, and it says I'm a returning employee, which I'm not... lol...

Does it give you an option to go straight to the final exam?

^I don't think it did. All I remember was it saying that as a return employee, I had the option to do so. But when I clicked on to the next page, it had me go through the whole training, and there didn't seem to be a problem after that.

Regardless, I finished it. (And yes, I did miss a question, but it was still one of the easiest training things I've ever been through.)

2009: I REALLY want to come back, we'll see
2008: CP&LE Railroad/Monster/Witches' Wheel

The training does consist of some relatively easy, but important information. The best thing about it is that it really tests your ability to read a question and then throughly analyze it. If you do tend to try to speed through the test instead of reading everything very carefully, mistakes are bound to happen. Congrats on passing the test, don't worry Part 2 of the training is definitly a lot more fun then reading and then taking a test online!

I just found out that I will be working at CP for the '08 season...and I wanted to know which housing option is the best. I was going to stay in the dorms but I have heard good and bad...HELP!!
I just want to know from people who have been there.

Thanks

I second Commons dorms. The big drawbacks for me were no kitchen (mostly during halloweekends when I had time to cook) and it was small but I got over it.

I have lived in Gold dorms before and you can bring both a/c and a frig also as long as its small one. You have to pay extra for having the a/c in but i cant remember how much but its not very much and its well worth it you not be able to sleep if you do not have one.

Wait, what do you mean you lived in the golds dorm...Is that like the name of the dorm. And, can you tell me what the names of all the dorms are.
I know Ceders in a guys dorm
what are the others?

Thanks
-Kt

Theres Commons, Golds and Cedars..then there are Bayside and Commons apts.

Gold Dorms are female only, and in is in the park, behind Corkscrew. Pretty old.

Cedars is male only, also inside the park, over by the Marina and Human Resources.

Commons has the dorms and apartments, which is the biggest, and most popular, though a mile away from the park.

Bayside is across the street from Commons, which is just apartments, no dorms. These usually house supervisors and Castaway Bay employees.

Wow...thank Brandon...geez...I feel so corrected....

Looked around, thought this was the best place to post this...

I just got a call from one of the managers and I have an interview with him this saturday (in person) in Dearborn. How should I dress? Formal (Suit & Tie) Semi-Formal (dress pants & white shirt) or casual (jeans and nice botton down shirt)?

Also, if I am arriving around May 10, will there still be housing, and if so, which would likely be available? And which is best?

Thank You

well honest i think that kahki's and a nice shirt should do just fine. if you are going for a management position though i would dress up a little more than that.

wear the kahki's and nice shirt with a tie, or a polo

Just go into the interview as you were going into any other job interview. Dress nice, and come prepared to answer lots of questions.
