Hey, it had to be done...

I just applied last weekend. I wanted to work there after high school, but it didn't work out. At first thought of applying there I wasn't sure if I wanted to. Now I think I would like to. I applied for driving the vehicles for resort guests. Does anyone know if those positions are hard to get?

Diane

Considering that those jobs tend to pay better then others, I would think that there are many people that apply for them. There is always a chance of getting the job if you apply early enough.

On another note, I have been receiving emails from HR numerous times telling me that I have been hired. I'm thinking that the problems with Job Net have started to affect their email system as well.

Well, I havent started getting crazy emails yet; so maybe thats not a good thing...haha...j/k

Just to remind anyone in case you have not received an email regarding online training. The password that was given to you from Job Net is also the password that you use for the training. If it is currently within 28 days of your process in date, go to http://training.cedarpoint.com and take your online training there.

And the test is incredibly easy.

^ I agree...

What happens if you fail it?

I believe you can take it over. If you know how to read english, I don't think you should have a problem. It's all open note too.

*IF* for whatever reason you fail the first time, you are allowed to retake the test once, in the same session. (You cannot login at another time once you've started the test)

*IF* for some reason, you fail both tests, may God have mercy on your soul. (Oh, and you have to take the test when you get there, or something)

But...You shouldn't have to worry. The test is easy, and like Craig said, is open note. You kinda have to try to fail it.

Hmm...JobNet is screwed up again, surprise surprise. For some reason, the login fields are behaving like the new user field. In other words, it thinks you're putting in a SSN, instead of logging in. That means I can't approve my contract...the endless problems with JobNet are really screwing up the process this year.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

If you fail it both times, you will be required to learn the material in a live class when you arrive.
