But don't they usually start hiring ride host first before other positions???

Before what other positions??? TL's and ATL's are already being chosen as well..

Do you mean before foods or games?? They are seperate depts with different hireing people...

Patience.. All departments are hiring right now as each department hires their employees separately. The managers have a LOT of work to do right now with hiring though.. with selecting/hiring TLs/ATLs, rehiring former employees, going through applications and doing interviews for new employees.. It takes time to get through everything, way more than just a week. Don't worry :)

I just wanted to Know about the online training. Is it to be completed before or after you process in, and what is involved. Also, for returning employees, which housing units did you like best.

You should be receiving an email shortly letting you know about online training. Basically you get sent a password and user name so you can log onto the training website. You get all that 30 days before you are supposed to process in. The overall material is pretty basic but if you're new I would suggest making sure you read over it as you do need at least an 80% to pass. Online training is required if you want your bonus.

As for where to live. It all depends, I lived in commons dorms last summer. I needed to have a room with a/c to come home to after a hot day at work. I would suggest the commons dorms. I lived in the 1400 building last year which was decent. If you are looking for 5 star housing CP is def. not the place to get it. I hope to stay in the 1500 building this year though. So basically I would say stay at commons dorms. Its off point but much better then on point housing. Also you can walk back from your night at bar!

Yeah commons are the best to stay in....A/C and Heat and so much better than Cedars....And you're on the mainland and not surrounded by water.....

So looks like I got assigned Iron Dragon...has anyone ever worked that ride before? And is it also possible switch rides...Iron Dragon wasn't really one of the rides I was really hoping on working.

Give it a chance first.. You never really know how you're gonna like working on a ride until you try it out. Besides, it's the crew that has the really has the most influence on how much you enjoy your time here, not necessarily the ride itself. Plus, if you go into it with an already negative attitude then you're bound to not like it no matter what happens. Look at it this way.. it's a coaster, it's has a pretty quick pace so you won't get bored, you won't work a horrible number of hours.. there are always positives to any ride.

Exactly. I had been contracted to Magnum last summer, and I was super excited about that...but the day I processed in, they told me that I was moved to WildCat. I was disappointed at first...but, I ended up loving it. The smaller rides aren't as boring as people think. My crew made this summer amazing, I loved it. It's not so much of the ride making your summer enjoyable as it is the people you work with. Give it a try, and get to know your crew. :)
