You can see similar ones on Millennium Force (which are green ). Next time you exit the station look behind the train and there is a whole slew of them. Also on the brake run there are a ton. They look like little rectangular boxes and are between the ties of the track.

When we got to the park the sign at the entrance said that Wicked Twister would open later today. Then we got in and it was running shortly after that. Then an hour or so later, the ride was down again, only to be opened again later.

I'm not that impressed with this ride's uptime.

It has uptime?

I've seen it run once since May and I'm there 2-3 times a week.

I've been there 4 times this year and each time it has been running the nearly the whole day (minus some minor downtime).

Intresting that they made it so you couldn't see what was going on with the WT...they tilted one webcam and froze the other one.

I think the ride is Satan!!:)

Whenever I see the ride from a distance, the two spikes remind me of Devil Horns. I've thought that since the first time I saw it!

it has a mind of its own, it runs when it wants to!

It's Satan! It's Possessed!!! :)

If you look just above the rear support, the bottom rail of the box track (not the running rails) has some sort of cylindrical brace on it. Also that black brace which is in the middle of the box track has been painted yellow. It's a good thing they have the right color touch up paint unlike some other Intamin in the park ;).

WT has had a lot of downtime, especially for a new ride at the park, its kinda been dissapointing...I am so glad I was able to ride it the 12 times I did before the crack developed and such...

So did Snake River Falls and Magnum, to name two, when they were new. They seem to be doing OK now.

Exactly, nobody knows what the problem is. All we know is that there has been some down time. I sometimes thunk that people think they know more than intamin and CP about some things.

90%? I heard 89%, but I just pulled that number of out thin air. Maybe your sources are better.

I say stop complaining and just ride it when its open. Having a ride open half the time is better than having no ride at all.

Unfortunately, Great Adventure can't say the same for like 1/3 of the rides in the park, including like half the flat rides and the Robin side of the Chiller. :( I was very disappointed to see Medusa running with only two trains and stacking consistantly when I was there. Really, the Nitro crew was the only good crew we saw down there. Even with the WT fiasco, I still feel very confident that all rides will be open when I visit CP. I've wandered around many times and not seen a single ride down and even if something is down, it is one or two rides, not 1/3 of the park! :)

I was acctually Amazed with How the Nitro runs...runs like clockwork...in and out in and out...non-stop. I was there alot of times this year...Pretty much every time i was there the nitro was running flawlessly...the medusa had some problems and alot of the other rides had some problems...But still The WT has one of the biggest down time i've seen.
