Mantomatic and I were talking about this at the park yesterday...I'm rooting for a TA because I'm an airtime hound, but he isn't into it for the capacity and shortness reasons. Let's say they DID work out the capacity issue and could perhaps add more substance to it...any complaints then? Man would our skyline look..unique..with TA and PT...

A ThustAir is perfect too in many footprints across the park..one in particular!...Capacity issue is never a problem for CP people..Hypersonic is the 1st of its kind in the amusement park arena and a prototype if you will..Remember CP's knack for opening the biggest and best! I'm sure Hypersonics capacity can be topped...

I don't feel a need to rush to PKD to experience it. I'm probably one of the few who choose Mean Streak over MF. I'm sick of steel coasters and I have never really enjoyed launched coasters. They just seem wrong :)

Here's a thought...IF CP goes for a woodie...why not make it go backwards? It'd draw more people than just a plain old woodie, and CP definately needs a backwards coaster.

I really would like to see a nice big woody at cp. They need that more then a thrust coaster.

I did a little searching over at Coaster Buzz
http://www.coasterbuzz.com/news/news.asp?NewsID=1981 and I stumbled across the new S&S Thrust-Air. Being built in Japan standing 320 ft. tall and 107 mph this thing is gonna be a beast. The turn around is massive and I mean wow! I surely hope CP gets one of these now!

I understand your point about "capacity never being a problem for CP people" Mr. Spartan...but I still don't get it. I have heard that the capacity for Hypersonic is terrible, and the only thing that comes to my mind is that idea of building more than one TA2K...but I think that idea is insane, because you will be taking up a lot of room, and spending more money that I feel is "necessary". I'd love to see the Thrust Air come to the park...but am stumped on the capacity issue...good think park officials are brilliant...

Heres an idea: what about racing TA2Ks? It would help the capacity issue, wouldn't be so expensive (TA2Ks are cheap), and it would just be SWEET!

Here is my wishlist for most wanted coasters:
3: S&S TA2K
2: B&M Flying coaster - B&M have proven themselves
and....
1: CCI woodie

I rode Magnum 5 times and MF once with Robin Innes.

how about a thrust air train that is very large? If they are worried about capacity. just make the thing longer..

I like your idea, Candian Guy...Something like three trains that has eight rows of four (32 riders per train). That might do the trick...but I am not sure how large the trains can be..??
Anyway, while this is a fun topic...it really is all relative until the official announcement...
mikey (I want the Thrust Air, but think it will be a woodie)

They could always make it a duel track and race them...with the bigger trains..Id say that would be more like it. It would be awesome to see them both being shot out at the same time side by side...Im begining to wonder if I should build a coaster myself, I know MF would of been alot better if I did it. :)

I was waiting for the obvious response throughout this thread and finally Tohot gave it. A Duelling/racing TA2K with longer trains in definitely the way to go.

Chip, the TA2K in Japan is actually not much bigger than Hypersonic. The reason it can go so fast is because there is a turn and a long straightaway after the launch but before the hill. I saw a couple of alternitive TA2K layouts a couple weeks ago, I will try to find them agai nand post them here.

I don't think CP will get just one coaster next season. I really think you are going to see two new coasters. One of witch I think will be a floorless. I hope they don't get a flying coaster because I thought X-Flight was WAY overrated.

Chip, it seems your information is wrong, the height of the new TA2K in Japan is 170ft tall, not 320ft as you mentioned.
