no Thrust-Air!!!!

When Chip posted, the rumor was that is what over 300 ft. Now the layout and stats have been released and it's only 170 ft.

I dunno. but I am thinkin CP needs a CCI and an "X-like" TA2K with 23 loops and 402 feet and 122 miles per hour and is 30,167 feet long and goes all the way around the point and parking lot and goes through Sandcastles lobby! These topics are pointless. gimme a beer! peace out!

Keep up with the times???!! They have 3 of the four top steel coasters in the world. They only have 2 wood coasters.

That's like having babe ruth, mickey mantle, and ted williams as you 3-4-5 hitters and you have Jason Grimsley and Jose Mesa as your pitchers.

I'm thinking that the "revenge" Dan is talking about is getting the record for the tallest coaster back from Japan--the tallest coaster with a TA2K.

Man I love this stuff! I love guessing on what will be next and not knowing who is right!

......Or better yet, Revenge against SFMM by building 2 new coasters...which I think is a little far fetched. Oh well, I still love guessing! :)

I'd have to agree that Dan is probably talking about revenge against Nagashima Spaland for taking the record with Steel Dragon 2000.

I can hardly stand waiting anymore, but several comments in this thread have me very excited...:)

Revenge on the Mountain to settle all our troubles ;) I'd like a 420 foot thrust air to go please. A side of CCI would be nice, but whatever.

coasting...i didnt say CP needed to keep up with the times by comparing them to one particular park. I meant in general...they need to get with the times...and build a newer coaster. Heck parks all over have lim launch or air thrust..we yet to have one. And your quote of saying that CP already has the top steel coasters is exactly my point..steel coaster..big, bigger, and biggest. Do you mean that it would add more variety with coaster companies? One of the only things CP is missing is some kind of a launch coaster. Adding a CCI would be adding less variety then a Thrust-Air.

I would love to see both a Thrust Air, and a CCI, but I don't think CP would build a CCI for several reasons:

1. They already have both kinds of wooden track layouts.

2. Both BS, and MS are pretty rough, but are getting much better as we speak.

3. From what I have learned over the last few years, wooden coasters take a bit longer to build then steal, meaning we would have known about it.

yes but in reply to cppsyclones quote, didn't the head of cedar fair richard kinzel (sp?) say every park should have a CCI??? And I think he means that a CCI would be better because cp has so many steel coasters and only 2 woodies a great woodie is what they need yes a launch would be nice but I think something like hulk at IOA would be much better thand a thrust air!

Yes, I do agree with you CPlove, about having 12 steal, and only 2 wooden coasters at CP. I was just mentioning how there are many more types of steal coasters then there are wooden. I never read about Richard Kinzel commenting on CCI coasters.
