New for 2014

The asphalt on the Frontier Trail actually works for me, makes the area seem more rustic.

With what they can do with colored and textured concrete these days (think faux wood planks or whatever), I would very much welcome the removal of FT's asphalt. Provided they can avoid any large scale tree removal back there.

Asphalt is rustic? I haven't heard that one before.. Agreed on the trees; they do add something to the atmosphere.

In other news, that ring of concrete outside the fence on Monster? I was thinking it was the exit, but it kind of looks like it might be the FL entrance.

The lights look fantastic. Can't wait to be under them in 6 short days.

I'm interested to see the lighting that Lake Erie Eagles will have but wow, that area looks amazing.

Love watching the changes on the webcam as the park gets ready to open! There is something going on all the time.
BTW- Can the link for the Gatekeeper Front Gate Cam be added to the list on forum sticky?
My phone keeps going back to CPs mobile site and won't keep the full site active. And the app has old webcam pics on it.

For those of you not watching the live stream , you are missing a nice sunset with ever changing light schemes.
There is a full on light test going on right now on the live feed.

How do you get the live stream? It's not on the CP website with the webcams.

If you have VLC, go to network stream and put in rtsp://50.23.65.23:1935/live/cedar.stream It's the same camera on the webcam page, but live video rather than stills.

Well, that was fun while it lasted.

They did take the webcam off the website.

I downloaded VLC and that link doesn't work when I choose network stream.

Looks like it's down now. Party's over.

Go figure. Right after download and install VLC. Looks like I'll be uninstalling it now.

VLC is an excellent media player. No need to uninstall. :)

Also, is it just me, or do they seem less ready for media day than any in recent memory? They still haven't landscaped LEE, and the work on Monster seems more involved than last minute touch-ups.
