I can't imagine they'd need to drain all the water to test the drainage system.

In fact, I'd bet they tested the drainage system as they were filling it the first time, or around that time. If you have your plumbing specialists working their magic on filling the pond, it makes sense that they'd test all the plumbing components simultaneously-ish.

Yes, you would not fill the tub unless you know the drain works. If you did fill the pond first you would not need to waste over 200,000 gal. of water to test it.

If you look at the cam now it looks like there is water going over the rocks, but maybe they had to enhance the rocks by painting them so they had to drain the pool for that?

That is an awful lot of folks standing at the base of first lift scratching their heads....

holybajeesus, that is a lot of mist!

edit: ooh! Mist in the tunnel, too! And it looks like they used a crane to pull the boat (or something else... looked like a block of wood more than a boat) up the lift some, then took it off and drove it away.

crazy mist action, very cool. Interesting that the mist effect does not draw water from the pool as there is no water in the pool.

Cant quite figure out what the problem at the base of the first lift is. They seem to be using the crane to repeatedly place the boat (or something) as if there is some sort of problem with the boat engaging the track there.

There is actually a lot of attention on both lifts and under the station. And there are people inside the tunnel, apparently aiming spray nozzles.

edit: new video uploading now...

I'm not sure if you guys are kidding or not about the mist. But, I think the camera lens is just fogged up.

Edit: I didn't see you had posted a video. I just watched it and now see what you were talking about. If that's mist/fog, it's pretty cool.

I know my YouTube is a little trashed, but it cleans up after a few seconds and you can see for yourself. I'll also fix the video later today so that it isn't messed up at the beginning (it looks OK here).

I am guessing that all these "suits" and this weird activity around the lift mechanism , combined with the lack of any info from Tony in over a week has to mean that something is not quite right...

Anything to share yet Tony?

^ while I actually agree there are so many tools on here that will start bitching about how stupid it is to ever expect anything out of the ordinary and start calling you a conspiracy theorist.

Luckily you asked ;)
