Thats the cup I received earlier this season. I was actually
grateful and appreciative. I dont go around looking for free
anything and expecting it. They dont have to
give out free anything. The only thing I wish
they would do is use paper cups that are biodegradable. And
you are complaining becuase you HAVE to ask for 15-20 free cups
of free ice water like they OWE you something.
Ridiculous and gluttonous.

^^ I really would cry if they got those because disney uses them and they make your water smell really bad. IF its beetween going green and not having that smell, I am going with plastic cups. Whats next, paper straws? GO KINZEL!

Hardly. I am just not a whiny person who complains
about what I get for free.

Wow I thought they might have shrunk and maybe put them in Dixie cups or something. This has been the size of them for awhile. I like them. Did you expect them to give you a free Maverick cup or something?

How much smaller are they? The paper cups they used to use were 12oz (at least according to the Minor League team in Ft. Wayne, they have the same sizes of Pepsi cups as CP). I really could care less, it just means I'll be costing them more for more cups if they're smaller than 10 or 8oz. That, and I use the water fountains regularly.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

It's their loss really. If they were to give me a decent sized cup of water (I always thought the 12oz was a bit small) I would drink it and be happy. If they give me a small >10oz sized cup I'm going to ask for two or three versus one.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Detroit Basketball, The park is located on a peninsula. Just exit one the three gates along the lake, bend down and enjoy a nice cool drink of refreshing Lake Erie water. all you can drink for free!

I always down like 4 or 5 waters at one food stand. I just say, "set me up with another", or "hit me, dude" and it seems to work. I did the same thing when they had the drink wristbands.

^^ Either that, or there are these new-age devices located throughout the park by the restrooms called water fountains. You press a button and free water comes out.

Do what I do, bring a water bottle, and carry it around with you. Refill it at the water fountains, and set it off to the side on the rides. Not too hard or challenging.

I was at CP Thursday. The first few times I got free water it was in the regular size cup we always got. Later, I got water at Happy Friar and got a 5oz. plastic cup similar size to those Dixie bathroom cups or the one the dentist has for you to rinse with. They are not 8oz. cups. No way are they that big. Los Gatos had them to and so did The Gazebo where the guy said they'd just brought them and told them to us the new size. It is not worth waiting in line for these mini cups. They must want us to buy the bottled water. I bring my own and either get a couple free ones or use a fountain to refill it. If they keep this size, I wouldn't go special to get it from a stand. I'm sure CP could care less as they are giving it away anyhow. It just one more little thing that has changed for the negative.

They also changed the policy on rentals...wheelchairs, etc this week. If you want your deposit back, you must return by 10pm. they used to let you return later so you could watch Hot Summer Lights, Starlight, catch a last ride etc. They indicated they'll close up which I doubt. What are you going to do with your wheelchair, stroller whatever, just leave it somewhere. Who is going to sort that out. There were many unhappy people in the line returning rentals last night.

^ - no, they don't. They can't charge for tap water, that doesn't mean they have to provide it at the food stands.
